Abstract: The present invention discloses an electric folding vehicle, including a front wheel frame, a first vehicle frame, a second vehicle frame, a chair frame, and a linkage mechanism. The linkage mechanism includes a first linkage rod with a first end rotatably connected to the front wheel frame and a second end rotatably connected to the second vehicle frame, and a second linkage rod with a first end rotatably connected to the second end of the first linkage rod and a second end connected to the chair frame. By providing a linkage mechanism, when the first vehicle frame and the second vehicle frame are folded and collapsed, the present invention can drive the front wheel frame to fold synchronously with the chair frame, so as to achieve rapid folding and collapsing of the electric folding vehicle, and make the electric folding vehicle more convenient to carry.

Abstract: A personal mobility vehicle 1 includes one or more automation components, a vault 2, and locking means 3 adapted to lock the vault 2. The automation components include at least one of a motor controller, computing processors, or a battery to power other automation components, or combination thereof. The functional components are the components that either display various information related to navigation of the vehicle, or receive inputs to be processed by the computing processor or microcontroller, or receives triggers from the motor controller or the computing processor regarding the functioning of the functional components, or combination thereof. Inside the vault 2, the automation components are placed, such that the automation components are functionally connected to other functional components of the vehicle 1. The embodiment helps to safeguard the automation components, and keep them protected, such that authorized personnel have access to the automation components inside the vault. These automation components are critical to functioning of the vehicle 1.

The steering assembly may be coupled to the frame and configured to steer the vehicle based on input from a steering input. The vehicle may include a first drive wheel and a second drive wheel. The vehicle may include a steering position sensor configured to detect steering input including a position of the steering input and at least one of i) a rate of change of position of steering input and ii) steering position time. The vehicle may include at least one controller configured to process a signal from the steering position sensor and, in response to the processed signal, drive the first drive wheel and the second drive wheel, the first drive wheel being driven independent of the second drive wheel.
