摘要: An apparatus for formation of products comprising an edible material and an interleaver, the apparatus including a drum with mold cavities, each with a bottom and a sidewall, in which the edible material is formed. The apparatus including an interleaver storage having one or more interleavers, and a transportation means configured to transport the one or more interleavers from the interleaver storage to a circumference of the drum where the edible material is placed on the interleaver. The bottom and/or the sidewall is made from a porous material and pressurized gas is forced through the porous material to eject the edible material from the mold cavities. After ejection, the products are stacked such that one interleaver is between two edible materials.

摘要: A card feeding system that feeds cards from a stack to a conveyor system beneath product being carried. A card feed path arranged between a feed conveyor and the outfeed conveyor includes a fixed feed pinch roll and a pivot arm with a pivoting pinch roll and a pair of delivery rolls. A card stack receiving platform is located beneath a picker arm. An elevator is provided for raising the platform with the card stack. The picker arm has suction cups, and is pivotable from a card pick-up position to a feed position in which the card is positioned between the pivoting and fixed pinch rolls. A controller actuates the elevator, the picker arm, the pivot arm, the fixed and delivery pinch rolls to deliver single ones of the cards as product to be placed on the card transitions from the feed conveyor to the outfeed conveyor.

摘要: The invention relates to a device for producing stacks of slices (10) from slices (14) packed individually in film, in particular cheese slices, wherein a dispensing roller (1) is provided between the cutting unit (2) and the slice feeding unit (3, 4), first dispensing the slices (14) packed individually in film by the cutting unit (2) transverse to the horizontal main conveyor direction (15), and then transferring said slices to at least two slice conveyor elements (5) of the slice collecting and stacking unit (5-9) by means of two separate conveyor belts (3, 4) of the slice feeding unit (3, 4). The invention further relates to a method for producing stacks of slices (10) from slices (14) packed individually in film, particularly cheese slices, wherein a plurality of slices (14) packed individually in film are first collected on a dispensing roller (1) and dispensed transverse to the horizontal main conveyor direction (15), that is, in the transverse conveyor direction (17) after exiting the cutting device (2), and are then transferred in parallel to a plurality of separate transport belts (3, 4) and conveyed thereon to one each of the vertical transport and collecting chutes (5). The aim of the invention is to refine a simple and inexpensive device for producing stacks of slices (10) from slices (14) packed individually in film, such that the product performance, that is, the number of slices transported through the device per unit of time, can be increased substantially.

摘要: An apparatus and method for the automated and large scale preparation of layered stacks of one or more food items such as sandwich meats, hors d'oeuvre servings and the like ("set-ups"). The apparatus conveys a continuous web of paper through a plurality of slicer stations, each slicer station providing one or more slices of one or more food items to sequentially form set-ups of two or more stacked layers of horizontally spaced food slices. The apparatus is synchronized so that each sliced layer is conveyed to a subsequent slicer station before the next layer of food slices is deposited directly on top of that previous layer. The set-up is formed with two or more stacked layers of food slices before being conveyed to a cutter/wrapping station where the paper web is cut to separate the finished set-ups which are then wrapped by folding a portion of the cut paper over the finished set-up. The wrapper separates the set-ups when they are subsequently stacked and packaged and also allows for the sanitary handling of the set-ups when they are unpackaged and used to make sandwiches or the like. The apparatus can include a second paper supply device to interpose a second web of paper between two layers of food to thereby prevent the exchange of flavor and color components between the layers.

摘要: A system for stacking food products on cut sheets of paper provides several continuously moving conveyors. Products, such as meat patties, are placed onto continuous sheets of paper suitable for separating them in stacks. The weight of the products pressing the paper against the conveyor simply pulls the paper off of supply rolls at the rate of movement of the conveyor. A sensor detects the position of the food products on the conveyor, causing cutting blades to descend and cut the paper between the food products. Such cutting is performed without stopping the conveyors.

摘要: A plurality of flat, similar articles, such as, by way of example, individual slices of sausage which have been severed from an elongate substantially cylindrical sausage-stuffed casing, are randomly deposited onto a conveyor and then advanced in coplanar relationship to an accumulator station where predetermined numbers of articles are divided into individual groups, and each group of articles is advanced onto a carrier member for and which is unique to a particular group of articles, the carrier-member supported groups are advanced one-at-a-time to a stacking station where the articles of each succeeding group are deposited onto the articles of each preceding group until a predetermined number of groups of articles have been vertically stacked, after which the entire stack is released onto a conveyor for further processing.
