Abstract: A conveying apparatus (1) for conveying food products, comprising: a conveyor (2) developing along a closed conveying path (3), said conveyor (2) comprising a first and second endless chain (4, 5) arranged parallel to each other: a plurality of containers (6) transversally mounted between said first and second endless chain (4, 5), each container (6) comprising: —at least one cup-shaped receptacle (8) for a food product: —a first pin (9) and a second pin (10) protruding respectively from opposite ends of the container (6); a plurality of pairs of supports (11, 12), each pair being formed by a first support (11) mounted on the first endless chain (4) and a second support (12) mounted on the second endless chain (5), each support (11, 12) having a bore (13) dimensioned and shaped for receiving one of said pins (9, 10), the first pin (9) and the second pin (10) of each container (6) being removably mounted within the bores (13) of one pair of supports (11, 12).

Abstract: A machine for processing tubing includes a chamber, a heater, a conveyor belt that passes through an interior space of the chamber, each of twenty or more links of the conveyor belt further comprising a generally planar outer-facing surface, each adjacent to a generally planar outer-facing surface of at least one other link, forming a generally planar composite surface along a substantially linear sub-path, and wherein a first link and a second link each comprises a first longitudinally-extending barricade adjacent a first side and a second longitudinally-extending barricade adjacent a second side of the at least one generally planar outer-facing surface, the barricades separated by a transverse distance that is less than one-half of the width of the conveyor belt, and wherein when the first and second link are in the substantially linear sub-path, a distance between the distal end of the first link and the proximal end of the second link is less than a total length of the substantially linear sub-path, such that an elongate member resting on and extending along the generally planar composite surface is transversely restricted from migrating more than one-half of the width of the conveyor belt.

Abstract: A cartoning machine for packaging one or more products in a respective carton includes a product conveyor for conveying the products along an advancement direction, a transport device for transporting the carton along a transport path, an insertion zone wherein the products face an aperture of the carton and are inserted into the carton. The product conveyor includes a first belt on which first edges are mounted and a second belt on which second edges are mounted, each first edge defining with a respective second edge a pair of containment edges of the products. A mutual position of the first belt and of the second belt is adjustable so as to adjust accordingly a distance between the first edges and the second edges to adapt the pair of containment edges to a dimension of the products. The product conveyor further includes a first cam path and a second cam path, each first edge including a first cam follower engaging the first cam path and each second edge including a second cam follower engaging the second cam path, such that the first edges and the second edges are movable transversely to the advancement direction towards the carton at the insertion zone.

Abstract: A belting connection for attaching a first end and a second end of belting. The belting has a thickness. The belting connection mechanism includes a first stepped region, a second stepped region and a first fastener. The first stepped region is proximate the first end. The first stepped region has a first aperture formed therein. The first stepped region has a first thickness. The second stepped region is proximate the second end. The second stepped region has a second aperture formed therein. The second stepped region has a second thickness. The first fastener extends through the first aperture and the second aperture to attach the first end to the second end. The first stepped region at least partially overlaps the second stepped region when the first end is attached to the second end. When the first end is attached to the second end, the first stepped region and the second stepped region have a combined thickness that is no greater than the thickness of the belting.
