The control system detects a presence of a first item on a first conveyor and detects a presence of a second item on a second conveyor while the first item is present on the first conveyor. The second conveyor transfers items onto the first conveyor and is at a lower height than the second conveyor. The first conveyor is oriented perpendicularly with respect to the second conveyor. In response to detecting the presence of the second item, a location of the first item along a length of the first conveyor is determined. The first conveyor and the second conveyor are controlled based at least on the location of the first item.

摘要: The invention creates a single-track or multiple-track device and a corresponding method for conveying lumpy products in such a way that the products are separated from a product stream on each of the tracks and are subsequently conveyed further spaced apart uniformly and/or in groups. For this purpose, arrangements for supplying the products as a single-row product stream are provided in each track as well as arrangements for discharging the separated products distanced from one another in a row, wherein the products are transferred from the supplying arrangements to the discharging arrangements. Arrangements for conveying the products are provided in each track in the area of the transfer from the supplying arrangements to the discharging arrangements and have driver arrangements, which are mounted so as to be pivotable in a controlled manner in the conveying direction of the products and which intervene between two successive products in the supplied product stream in such a way that said arrangements guide the products during the transfer from the supplying arrangements to the discharging arrangements in such a way that the products are separated from the product stream and are conveyed further at uniform distances from one another and/or in groups, and are discharged, in a controlled manner in each case. The multiple-track conveying device additionally comprises arrangements for controlling the conveying devices in the tracks, such that the product streams on the tracks are synchronized with one another in such a way that a product on a track, following the separation from the respective product stream, is substantially aligned with the products on individual selected other tracks or all of the other tracks, such that the products on the tracks in question are arranged side by side substantially in a row in a direction perpendicular or at an incline to the conveying direction of the products.

摘要: A food product alignment device for a conveyor includes a plurality of upright pins that act in pin pairs to align respective food products that approach the pin pairs on a moving conveyor. Particularly for round food products or food product stacks, a misaligned round food product will slightly pivot on the moving conveyor when contacting a first pin to be evenly positioned between the two pins of the respective pin pair. The pins are retractable to a position beneath the conveyor after the food products are aligned to allow the aligned food products to continue proceeding on the conveyor.

摘要: An accumulation-and-release conveyor using a roller belt with rollers arranged to rotate in the direction of belt travel. The rollers extend through the thickness of the belt. A movable stop is positioned along the carryway just downstream of a bearing surface that is movable into and out of contact with the rollers. When the bearing surface is out of contact with the rollers, they are freely rotatable; when the bearing surface contacts the rollers, they roll on the bearing surface to propel articles in the direction of belt travel. The stop is selectively moved between a blocking position preventing articles from passing and accumulating them with low back line pressure on the freely rotatable rollers and a release position allowing articles to pass to the accumulation zone where they are propelled forward and separated from each other by the rotation of the rollers rolling on the bearing surface.
