摘要： A supporting apparatus for a roll of paper towels or a similar item. The device has a section of lanyard or other flexible material fastened along its lower region to an adjoining collar with two arms extending in generally opposite directions from each other. The arms provide a surface on which a roll of paper towels can rest. A series of enlargements and a spherical dual-passage collar along the upper region of the lanyard together provide a releasable loop of adjustable size by which the device is hung. The holding device has confining elements at the distal ends of the arms. A user can easily attach a roll of paper towels or toilet tissue to the device by dropping the adjoining collar together with the arms through the hollow cylindrical core of the roll.

摘要： This invention relates to a payoff device particularly suited for coiled wire which is packaged without a reel. The device includes a clamp assembly rotatably supported at one end by a frame which may be affixed to a truck or other vehicle. The clamp assembly has a mandrel featuring a plurality of clamp pads connected to a main rotatable shaft by a scissors linkage which may be stationary or may push the pads in a radial direction against the interior surface of the coiled wire. Two end plates support the coil laterally and one of the end plates is removable so that the coil can be placed on the clamp assembly. The clamp assembly is supported by a frame whose upper portion is rotatable such that the payoff direction can be changed. The device also includes a brake and a stop pin to prevent unwanted rotation of the clamp assembly and a locating pin to prevent the unwanted rotation of the upper portion of the support frame.

摘要： To prevent disalignment of the edges of a folded sheet by smoothly feeding the sheet to a packaging unit while keeping tension fluctuations to a minimum when the sheet is unwound from a paper roll set in a paper feed unit even though the paper roll diameter decreases gradually as the sheet is unwound. A sheet length measuring sensor or rotary encoder is provided in the paper feed path through which the packaging sheet is fed toward the packaging unit. An angle sensor is provided which includes Hall element sensors provided on a support shaft and magnets provided on a core pipe of the paper roll. Any change in the signals from one of these sensors relative to the signal from the other sensor is used to calculate the paper roll winding length, and the sheet tension is adjusted to an optimum, constant level by controlling the sheet braking force stepwise according to the roll diameter measured by the sensors.

摘要： A paper towel holder includes a base with a central aperture and a hollow spindle extending up from the base. A flexible disc is secured to the underside of the base and has a substantially flat bottom surface. A central aperture extends through the disc and communicates with the hollow interior of the spindle. A valve stem is slidably mounted in the spindle. The value stem will fall gravitationally into sealing engagement with portions of the disc surrounding the central aperture so that the central aperture is sealed. In this condition, any attempt to tilt or lift the paper towel holder will create a partial vacuum beneath the disc that will resist such lifting or tilting. However, the valve stem can be lifted up relative to the remainder of the towel holder to open the aperture in the disc. No partial vacuum will exist below the disc and the paper towel holder can be moved easily.

摘要： A toilet paper dispenser for use in connection with conventional mounting brackets. The dispenser includes a U-shaped bracket having mounting points extending horizontally outwardly from each end which are configured to engage conventional toilet paper dispenser mounting brackets. Extending upwardly from the base portion of the U-shaped bracket is a cylindrical spindle configured to engage a hollow cylindrical toilet paper roll. During use, the mounting brackets are engaged in conventional mounting brackets so that the center of gravity of the dispenser lies below the horizontal plane of the mounting brackets. The hollow tube of a toilet paper roll is inserted over the spindle so that the toilet paper roll is oriented vertically with respect to the mounting brackets.
