摘要： A child-resistant fluid delivery device, comprising a container for storing fluid to be dispensed by the fluid delivery device and a wand assembly connected to the container. The wand assembly having a nozzle at a distal end through which fluid may be dispensed and a child-resistant connector at a proximal end. A ratchet mechanism is formed on the exterior of the child-resistant connector to permit attachment of the connector to the container and thereafter prevent removal of the connector from the container. The nozzle is sealed by a removable, child-resistant cover that includes at least one member that engages the nozzle to resist removal therefrom.

摘要： The invention relates to a device for cleanly and conveniently refilling a flowable substance in a dispensing device which comprises a container assembly of a container containing a flowable substance; a container holding assembly attached to the container which includes an opening mechanism for securing the opening of the container when the container holding assembly is held in a stable delivery position on a reservoir. An unlatching mechanism is also provided to release the container holding assembly from the reservoir in a convenient way. The invention also relates to the combination of such a container assembly and a reservoir assembly which is especially adapted for securely receiving the container assembly.

摘要： A fluid dispenser pump actuated manually to dispense a metered quantity or “dose” of fluid each time it is actuated. The pump has a pump body containing a pump chamber and a return spring resiliently urging the pump towards its rest position and returning it automatically to the rest position after each actuation. The pump chamber has an outlet value that is urged towards a closed position by the pressure from the fluid while the pump is being actuated, and is opened mechanically by a valve control element at the end of actuation. Once the full dose has been prepared, the outlet valve is kept in the open position while the fluid is expelled from the pump chamber. This prevents the flow of fluid from closing the outlet valve again before the full dose of fluid has been expelled.

摘要： A countersinkable tap for liquid containers is provided. The tap includes a tamper-evident device. The tap includes an outer tube having an abutment which bears against the can wall and adjacent to which is a sealing ring which seals off the can orifice. The tap also includes an inner tube mounted rotatably and displaceably in the outer tube, with a grip and with orifices to allow beverage flow out of the can interior through the outer tube to the inner tube. The inner tube has a spigot which engages into a radially running slot of the outer tube. The outer tube includes a wedge punch and the grip possessing a tab which covers the wedge punch and onto which is integrally formed an inwardly directed thickened portion which, when the grip is rotated, slides on the wedge punch and opens the tab to indicate tampering.

摘要： A locking closure for use with an associated container includes a closure cap having a top wall portion and a depending skirt portion depending from the top wall portion. The top wall portion further defines a dispensing region therein, and a door for covering the dispensing region. The door has a top surface and a bottom surface defining a thickness, and the door is connected to the top wall portion at a hinge region. The door is pivotable about the hinge region to traverse a path between an open condition and a closed condition. The closure includes a latch having a base portion integral with the top wall that extends generally transverse therefrom. The latch further includes a hook portion integral with the base portion, the hook portion extending from the base portion and intersecting the path defined by the door. The hook portion is spaced from the top wall and defines an engaging surface and a locking surface. The locking surface generally opposes the top wall portion, and the engaging surface inclines downward as it extends toward the door. The locking surface maintains the door in the closed condition and the engaging surface is configured to urge the hook portion out of the path of the door during closing of the door.
