    摘要: The present invention relates to a method for producing a flat article comprising a material that contains the products of several reactions. The method comprises the following steps: carrying out a pre-cross-linking of a mixture comprising an epoxydation product of a carboxylic acid ester using at least one cross-linking agent in order to form a moldable material; molding the moldable material in the shape of a flat article; and curing the molded material in order to produce a flat article, wherein the pre-cross-linking reaction is separate from the curing reaction. This invention also relates to a moldable material that can be stored and to a flat article that can be obtained from the same.

    摘要: This invention relates to fluoropolymer fibers and films which can be modified by cationic agents, such as cationic dyes. The fiber or film comprises a blend of a first and a second copolymer, or it comprises a terpolymer, the blend or terpolymer having (1) an acid or ionic functionality provided by a pendant group represented by the formula —(O—CF2CFR)aO—CF2CFR′SO3−Z+, wherein R and R′ are independently selected from F, Cl or a perfluorinated alkyl group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms, a=0, 1 or 2, and Z+ is H+, an alkali metal cation, or a cation derived from a compound selected from the group consisting of a cationic dye, a cationic whitener, a cationic flame retardant, a cationic antistatic agent, and mixtures thereof, and (2) a larger amount of a fluoroalkylvinylether, a fluoroalkene, or ethylene functionality. Such fibers and films are useful in various consumer goods where the product is desirably colored, whitened, antistatic, or flame retardant.

    摘要: A methacrylate, resin composition having an excellent processability and capable of providing films having excellent impact resistance, transparency, weatherability, solvent resistance and plasticizer migration resistance, which comprises (A) 5 to 50% by weight of a crosslinked acrylate elastomer having a two layer structure of a crosslinked polymer component (a-1) having a glass transition temperature of −30 to 10° C. and a crosslinked polymer component (a-2) having a glass transition temperature of less than −30° C. wherein the component (a-1) is located on the inner side or the outer side and the component (a-2) is located on the outer side or the inner side, and (B) 95 to 50% by weight of an alkyl methacrylate polymer prepared by polymerizing an acrylic monomer containing 80 to 100% by weight of an alkyl methacrylate and 20 to 0% by weight of an alkyl acrylate in the presence of a chain transfer agent and in the presence or absence of the elastomer (A). The composition may further contain a core-shell polymer prepared by graft-polymerizing a monomer containing a major amount of an alkyl methacrylate onto a crosslinked acrylate polymer, whereby molded articles having a matt surface and an excellent flex whitening resistance are obtained.

    摘要: Provided are a novel polypropylene resin composition, a gas permeable film comprising the same and provided with satisfactory optical characteristics (transparency, gloss and see throughness) as well as an excellent gas permeability (water vapor, oxygen and ethylene gas) without damaging a rigidity and a vegetable and fruit freshness long term-maintaining method using the above gas permeable film for a wrapping film. The polypropylene resin composition described above comprises 40 to 95% by weight of a propylene polymer (A) and 5 to 60% by weight of an ethylene/propylene/butene random copolymer (B) having a butene content of 3 to 40% by weight and an ethylene content of 10 to 30% by weight, wherein a ratio (&eegr;B/&eegr;A) of an intrinsic viscosity &eegr;B of the component (B) described above to an intrinsic viscosity &eegr;A of the component (A) described above falls in a range of 0.5 to 1.3; and the &eegr;B described above falls in a range of 0.5 to 3.0 dl/g. The gas permeable film described above is a single layer or multilayer film comprising at least one layer of a film of the polypropylene resin composition described above and having a thickness of 10 to 100 &mgr;m, and it has the following characteristics: (1) a permeability TH2O of water vapor is 9 to 50 g/m2·24 h (based on JIS Z 0208), (2) a permeability TO2 of oxygen is 600 to 12500 nmol/m2·s·100 kPa (based on JIS K 7126-A) and (3) a permeability Tethylene of ethylene gas is 600 to 22500 nmol/m2·s·100 kPa (based on JIS K 7126-A).

    摘要: The present invention is a film formed from an acrylate blend. The preferred blend is a film comprising components (a) and (b), component (a) being an ethylene butyl acrylate copolymer (EBAC) which is less than about 95 percent percent by weight of a total weight of components (a) and (b), wherein the EBAC has a content of acrylate groups from about 8 to about 36 percent by weight of the total weight of the EBAC; and component (b) being an ethylene methyl acrylate copolymer (EMAC) which is greater than about 5 percent by weight of the total weight of components (a) and (b), wherein the EMAC has a content of acrylate groups from about 8 to about 42 percent by weight of the total weight of the EMAC. The invention further includes a process for manufacturing this film for use as an interlayer in laminates comprising the steps of mixing the melt of thermoplastic polymer resins to form an ethylene butyl acrylate/ethylene methyl acrylate blend and forming the ethylene butyl acrylate/ethylene methyl acrylate blend of thermoplastic resins into a film for use as an interlayer in laminates. The invention still further includes a laminate comprising at least two sheets and at least one interlayer, the interlayer(s) being in between the sheets and wherein the interlayer is comprised of the film described above. The invention still further includes a laminate comprising an acrylate film laminated between two lamina wherein the film and the laminate have properties similar to PVB and laminates made with PVB, respectively.
