摘要: The present invention provides a steel sheet for a heat shrink band, containing, by mass %, 0.005% or less of C, 0.5 to 4% of Si, 2% or less of Mn, 0.2% or less of P, 0.04% or less of S, 0.2% or less of sol.Al, 0.01% or less of N, 0.0003 to 0.004% of B, 0.005% or less of O, and 0.002 to 0.1% of Sb, the balance being substantially formed of Fe, or a steel sheet for a heat shrink band further having a ratio of content of B to content of N (B/N) in the range from 0.2 to 1. This steel sheet realizes a heat shrink band having high strength and sufficient magnetic shielding properties.

摘要: A steel sheet with excellent bendability in which the main structure is composed of retained austenite (5-30 area %) and ferrite (no less than 50 area %) such that there exist no more than 40 carbide grains per 2000 nullm2 between the retained austenite and the ferrite. The steel sheet is suitable for automobiles which exhibits bending properties (bendability and tight bendability) even though its strength is as high as 600 to 1400 MPa.

摘要: Chevrel phase materials are used as thermoelectric materials. The Chevrel phase materials are formed as units, and the units include voids between the units. Those voids may be filled with filling elements. The filling elements can be large elements such as lead, or smaller elements such as metals. Exemplary metals may include Cu, Ti, and/or Fe. Different Chevrel phase materials are discussed, including Mo based Chevrel phase materials and Re based Chevrel phase materials.

摘要: A silicon steel sheet having low iron loss of high frequency has a surface layer of the steel sheet which has Si concentration higher than Si concentration of a center portion of the steel sheet. Si concentration of sheet thickness center is 3.4 wt. % or more and Si concentration of the surface layer of the steel sheet is 5 wt. % or more. Si concentration in a surface layer portion is 5 to 8 wt. %. The production method comprises siliconizing treatment and diffusing treatment. Velocity of siliconizing and diffusing are controlled, and Si concentration distribution in the sheet thickness direction of the steel sheet is controlled.

摘要: Disclosed is a steel alloy that includes as alloying ingredients carbon, silicon, manganese, aluminum, and oxygen. In accordance with this embodiment of the disclosed invention, carbon is present in an amount ranging from 0.40 to 0.77 wt. %; silicon is present in an amount ranging from 0.40 to 1.20 wt. %; manganese is present in an amount ranging from 0.40 to 1.20 wt. %, aluminum is present in an amount ranging from 0.003 to 0.060 wt. %; and oxygen is present in an amount ranging up to 0.0030 wt. %. Also disclosed is a railway wheel that comprises a hub, a rim, and a connecting plate. In accordance with this embodiment of the disclosed invention, at least the rim, and preferably the entire railway wheel, is composed of the disclosed steel composition.
