Abstract:
There are described the use of pyridine dyes of the formula ##STR1## where R.sup.1 is substituted or unsubstituted C.sub.1 -C.sub.20 -alkyl, substituted or unsubstituted phenyl or hydroxyl,R.sup.2 is a carbocyclic or heterocyclic radical,R.sup.3 is cyano, carbamoyl, carboxyl or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkoxy carbonyl,R.sup.4 is oxygen or the radical of an acidic CH compound,R.sup.5 is hydrogen or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl,R.sup.6 is substituted or unsubstituted C.sub.1 -C.sub.20 -alkyl, substituted or unsubstituted phenyl, hydroxyl or substituted or unsubstituted amino, andX is nitrogen or optionally CH,for dyeing or printing synthetic fibers, cellulose esters or blends thereof, dye mixtures comprising pyridine dyes of the above formulae and blue disperse dyes, the use thereof for dyeing and printing synthetic fibers, cellulose esters or blends thereof, and triazolopyridine dyes having a thienyl radical.
Abstract:
Dyes of the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is a carbocyclic or heterocyclic diazo component radical,R.sub.2 is cyano or acyl,R.sub.3 is alkyl, carbocyclic aryl or heterocyclyl, or a substituted deriive thereof, andR.sub.4 is hydrocarbyl or substituted hydrocarbyl, with the proviso that R.sub.4 is free of sulfo groups and protonizable groups, are useful as disperse dyes for the dyeing and printing of fibres and textiles of synthetic and semi-synthetic, hydrophobic organic substances of high molecular weight. These dyes build up excellently and yield dyeings which are fast to thermofixation, sublimation, pleating, ozone, rubbing, gas fumes, water, sea water, perspiration, alkali and washing.
Abstract:
Compounds of the formula ##STR1## wherein each R.sub.1 is alkyl of 1 to 3 carbon atoms, andA is phenylene, substituted phenylene, diphenylene, substituted diphenylene or naphthylene, wherein each substituent of substituted phenylene is independently fluoro, chloro, bromo, methyl, methoxy, ethoxy, trifluoromethyl or cyano and each substituent of substituted diphenylene is independently chloro, bromo, methyl or methoxy,With the proviso the two CO--O--R.sub.1 groups on each ring are meta or para to each other. These compounds are eminently suitable as pigments for the mass pigmentation of synthetic polymers and resins such as polyethylene, polystyrene, polyvinyl chloride, poromerics and rubber latices.
