    摘要: Apparatus for cutting erosive materials such as stone and the like includes a high-velocity, high-pressure water lance which can be raised and lowered as necessary. The lower end of the water lance carries a cutting head in the form of a nozzle assembly able to be rotated about the longitudinal axis of the water lance. The water lance is mounted upon a carriage which can be propelled in directions at right angles to each other and the water lance may be supported by a vertically-disposed truss, which itself may be relocatable about the longitudinal axis of the lance.

    摘要: Rock breaking apparatus includes a guide column within which a weight falls under gravity to strike a tool. A piece of shock-absorbing material is located at or near the base of said column such that it enables force to be transmitted from said weight to the tool, while minimizing the effect of the impact of said weight on other parts of the apparatus. The piece of shock-absorbing material has an aperture therethrough, for the passage of the tool. The tool may have a recessed portion which co-operates with a retaining pin located substantially at right angles to the direction of motion of the tool. The apparatus may also have an operating device, including a device for raising a weight, a device for holding a weight in one of a number of positions and a device for allowing said weight to fall.

In a preferred body, relocatable oil sand slurry preparation system further comprises a rejects crusher for crushing oversize rejects prior to delivering rejects back to the rotary digester.

    摘要: The openpit mining device includes a cantilever arm which is swivellable around a horizontal axis and carries a support or tool carriage. The support or tool carriage is shiftably supported in a transverse relation to the longitudinal axis of the cantilever arm and has tools rotatably supported on it.
