摘要： Apparatus for cutting erosive materials such as stone and the like includes a high-velocity, high-pressure water lance which can be raised and lowered as necessary. The lower end of the water lance carries a cutting head in the form of a nozzle assembly able to be rotated about the longitudinal axis of the water lance. The water lance is mounted upon a carriage which can be propelled in directions at right angles to each other and the water lance may be supported by a vertically-disposed truss, which itself may be relocatable about the longitudinal axis of the lance.

摘要： Rock breaking apparatus includes a guide column within which a weight falls under gravity to strike a tool. A piece of shock-absorbing material is located at or near the base of said column such that it enables force to be transmitted from said weight to the tool, while minimizing the effect of the impact of said weight on other parts of the apparatus. The piece of shock-absorbing material has an aperture therethrough, for the passage of the tool. The tool may have a recessed portion which co-operates with a retaining pin located substantially at right angles to the direction of motion of the tool. The apparatus may also have an operating device, including a device for raising a weight, a device for holding a weight in one of a number of positions and a device for allowing said weight to fall.

摘要： The present invention is a hydraulically operated splitting device with a piston cylinder unit comprising an extending chamber and a retracting chamber in which a piston is supported, displaceable in an extending direction and a retracting direction, allowing the extending chamber and the retracting chamber to be impinged with pressurized hydraulic medium for moving the piston at a displacement speed, a cylinder housing at which a plurality of pressure pads is supported, displaceable perpendicular to the extending direction and the retracting direction, a wedged lance connected to a piston rod of the piston and mobile with said piston, which engages wedge-shaped pressure areas of the pressure pads complementary to the wedged lance, and moves the pressure pads perpendicular to the extending direction and the retracting direction, a lubrication unit by which lubricant can be inserted from a lubricant reservoir to an area between the wedged lance and the pressure pads, with the splitting device comprising a protective unit by which the displacement speed can be reduced depending on the fill level of the lubricant in the lubricant reservoir.

摘要： A relocatable oil sand slurry preparation system is provided for preparing an aqueous oil sand slurry amenable to pipeline conveyance while producing minimum overall rejects, comprising (a) a relocatable rotary digester for slurrying oil sand and water and digesting oil sand lumps to form a pumpable slurry, the rotary digester having a feed end for receiving oil sand and water, a slurrying chamber comprising a plurality of lifters for slurrying the oil sand and water, and a trommel screen end for screening out oversize rejects from the oil sand slurry which falls through the trommel screen; and (b) a relocatable rejects recirculation unit operably associated with the rotary digester for receiving oversize rejects and delivering the rejects back to the rotary digester for further digestion. In a preferred body, relocatable oil sand slurry preparation system further comprises a rejects crusher for crushing oversize rejects prior to delivering rejects back to the rotary digester.

摘要： The openpit mining device includes a cantilever arm which is swivellable around a horizontal axis and carries a support or tool carriage. The support or tool carriage is shiftably supported in a transverse relation to the longitudinal axis of the cantilever arm and has tools rotatably supported on it. For this purpose, the head of the cantilever arm carries a rod-type guide and the tool carriage or support carries a rod-type guide.
