摘要: A shower head structure includes a showerhead made up of a main body adjustably mounted to a water outlet coupling tube and rotated in any angles wherein the main body has a limiting separation board properly preset at one side thereof to divide a water-collecting space and a concaved space at both sides thereby, and a plurality of tubular water guiding conduits protruding at preset positions of the limiting separation board thereon to communicate with both the water-collecting space and the water outlet coupling tube thereof. Each of the water guiding conduits is securely registered with a universal connector to which a water outlet spray head with various types of water outlet apertures such as net-like, tubular, or misty water outlet apertures disposed thereon is mounted thereby. Therefore, the water outlet spray heads can be individually and freely adjusted in any angles, permitting the showerhead to deliver water from various angles and in versatile patterns simultaneously for showering purpose, efficiently boosting the interest and function of the present invention in practical use.

摘要: The invention relates to a work vehicle (1) comprising an operable arm (10) adapted to handle a tool (A-D) fastened to the free end of the arm, a control unit (4) for controlling the work vehicle (1), a dust control system arranged to distribute water mist with the aim of retaining dust that is created when the tool is used. For efficient dust control, the dust control system comprises a pressure air source (31) and a water pressure source (21), an air duct (33) arranged for the tool (A-D), through which an airflow from the pressure air source (31) can be conveyed, an injection nozzle (26) directed against the airflow in the air duct (33), with which water from the water pressure source (21) can be sprayed into the airflow for atomization of the water into liquid drops, which together with the airflow form a water mist, whereby the air duct arranged for the tool (A-D) is directed, so that the liquid drops form water mist (36) in the surroundings of the tool.

摘要: An assembled length of water pipe sections having a nozzle pipe section at an inby end is moved from a crosscut of a mine into a mine entry to stop the advance of a fire in the entry without requiring firefighters to be positioned in the fire entry. The nozzle pipe section is moved across the entry to a position adjacent to an opposite entry sidewall. The nozzle pipe section is connected at an outby end in the crosscut by assembled sections of extension water pipes to a water feedline. Water under pressure is supplied through the extension pipes to the nozzle pipe section and discharged from the nozzles to generate a series of intersecting sprays directed at selected angles in a range between about 0.degree. to 90.degree. in the entry, forming a water curtain the complete height and width of the entry. Deflected water sprays from the sidewalls and mine roof combine with the upward water sprays to form a curtain of water extending across the path of the advancing fire and into contact with roof bolts supporting the mine roof above the entry. The water spray prevents the roof bolts from being heated to an elevated temperature which can cause a loss of anchorage of the bolts in the mine roof. The water curtain also cools the hot gases generated by the fire to stop advance of the fire beyond the curtain so that the fire can be contained and extinguished.

摘要: A device for reducing dust in workings such as underground workings which are supported by shields comprises a plurality of shields each having a top and a side wall on at least one side disposed alongside and spaced from the next adjacent shield side wall. A liquid conduit is carried by the sheild adjacent the top of its side wall and it is provided with a plurality of openings or discharge nozzles along its length in order to direct a dust settling liquid or spray downwardly adjacent the side wall. An elastic seal extends outwardly from the bottom of the side wall and applies against a similar seal of the next adjacent shield. The two shields together define a runoff gutter for the liquid employed to settle the dust.
