A valve mechanism is coupled to the valve assembly to control the flow of water from the inlets to the outlets. A timer is coupled to the valve mechanism to control the valve mechanism and thereby control the flow of water. The timer allows water to flow from said inlets to said outlets for a preset length of time.

The ceramic valving elements fulfill the requirement that the positive shut-off function must be accomplished up-stream of the sensing pressure-balancing piston in order to avoid the use of check valves in the hot and cold water supplies.

    摘要: A hydraulic neutral cold start control valve for a variable displacement hydraulic unit includes a housing with a spool bore and an intersecting signal pressure passage therein. A spool is disposed in the bore and is mechanically biased to a closed or neutral position of the valve by a pair of opposing springs. A plunger is associated with one of the springs and has a surface that usually sealingly contacts one end of the spool but extends radially therebeyond such that it is in fluid communication with the signal pressure passage. When the signal pressure exceeds a threshold value, the pressure forces the plunger to separate from the end of the spool. Then the movement of the spool becomes proportional to the signal pressure, which is desirable for normal operation and control of the hydraulic unit. If the vehicle powering the hydraulic unit is shut off or the signal pressure is interrupted such that it drops below the threshold value, the opposing springs resume control and move the spool to a neutral position. This ensures that low torque will be required to restart the vehicle, even under cold oil conditions.

    摘要: A water softener valve for controlling water flow to and from a water softener is disclosed that includes a cylindrical shaft extending from said inner surface of a piston chamber that fits into a pressure relief port when the piston is in the service position. The shaft clears the pressure relief port of any debris and closes the pressure relief port during the service cycle. The water softener valve also has a flow meter with at least two helically expanding vanes. A magnet on of the vanes trips a sensor as the turbine rotates, thereby providing means for calculating the flow of water through the valve. The valve also has a flow control button located at an inlet of the valve rather than at the drain, preventing the obstruction of the water flow by regeneration sediment of the tank at the drain. The valve also contains an internal piston port for permitting the free flow of water through the valve during a change in softener cycles.
