    摘要: A system and method for warmkeeping a steam generator such as a sub-critical steam generator is disclosed. Water extraction piping extracts water from a component of one of the water fill circuits of the sub-critical steam generator. A deaerator heating system having an inventory tank of water mixes the extracted water with the water in the tank, and heats the mix of water to a predetermined temperature level to generate heated deaerated feedwater. Feedwater piping forwards the heated deaerated feedwater at the predetermined temperature level from the deaerator heating system to the water fill circuits of the sub-critical steam generator. The water extraction piping, the deaerator heating system and the feedwater piping operate cooperatively to warmkeep the water fill circuits in accordance with the predetermined temperature level while the sub-critical steam generator is in the unfired stand-by mode of operation.

    摘要: A steam power plant is suggested having, parallel to the low-pressure passage (VW1 to VW2), a heat reservoir (A) which is loaded with preheated condensate in weak-load times. This preheated condensate is taken from the heat reservoir (A) for generating peak-load and inserted downstream of the low-pressure preheater passage (VW1 to VW2) into the condensate line that contacts the feed water container (8). Thus it is possible to quickly control the power generation of the power plant in a wide range without significantly having to change the heating output of the boiler of the steam generator (1). A steam power plant equipped according to the invention can thus be operated with bigger load modifications and also provide more control energy.

The feed-water take-off line is connected to the pressure accumulating vessel and a heating device is connected in the feed-water take-off line.

    摘要: Large power transformers such as used at electrical generating plants utilize oil for cooling with the heat removed by air cooled radiators. Several air cooled radiators are removed from the transformers and the oil circulated through plate heat exchangers which provide a heat transfer path to a fluid cooling medium such as water. Flow transducers and electrical temperature sensors may be used to monitor the flow rates of the oil and water, and the temperature of the oil and water in various parts of the system. These parameters are controlled to maximize the transfer of waste heat from the transformer to the water. The heated water is then utilized to perform useful work. For example, in a power plant having package boilers, the boiler makeup water is preheated with the transformer waste heat thereby reducing the energy requirements of the system.
