    摘要: A device and a method are described for controlling an internal combustion engine, in particular an internal combustion engine having an exhaust gas aftertreatment system. A parameter is determined which characterizes the intensity of a reaction in the exhaust gas aftertreatment system, starting from operating parameters which characterize the state of the internal combustion engine and/or the state of the exhaust gas aftertreatment system. When a threshold value is exceeded by the parameter, measures are introduced for reducing the reaction speed.
