Abstract:
The invention relates to a safety for a repeating rifle, with a safety slider (4) arranged displaceably between a safety position and an unsecured position on a lock (2), and a locking element associated with the safety slider (4) for blocking or releasing a firing pin nut (8) displaceably arranged in the lock (2). The locking element according to the invention is constructed as a safety lever (22), rotatable about a transverse pin (24), with a control part (23) engaging with a control groove (19) on the firing pin nut (8).
Abstract:
Systems for a firearm are provided to increase safety, reduce complexity, and improve precision of the weapon. In general, examples of the systems including a safe axis firing pin that prevents unintended discharge are described herein, where the firing pin is not aligned with the primer of a chambered cartridge until the user intends to fire the firearm. Embodiments of the system are capable of modular installation and generally include a user-actuated trigger configured to displace the firing pin from a safe axis to a firing axis, by rotation, translation, or a combination thereof. Additional features are provided to prevent displacement of the firing pin by input other than the trigger, e.g., if the firearm is dropped. In another aspect, examples of the systems described herein include a barrel interfacing a slide where the barrel and slide include features to centrally align the barrel as the slide completes a cycle.

Abstract:
An interchangeable safety selector that includes a generally cylindrical lock member rotatable between a safe and a fire position, wherein when the lock member is in the safe position a first portion of the lock member blocks movement of a portion of a firing mechanism of a firearm; a projection formed on each end of the lock member; and at least two lever members, each lever member having a recess mateable with the projection of the lock member, wherein the lever members are interchangeable, wherein one of the lever members is secured to a first end of the lock member via interaction of the projection and the recess and is further secured to the first end of the lock member via a screw.

Abstract:
Present embodiments relate to a safety selector assembly for a firearm. More specifically, present embodiments relate to, without limitation, a safety selector assembly for a firearm which may be added to a slide post-manufacturing, or which may be manufactured and assembled with the slide.
