    摘要: Apparatus for combining positional data from OMEGA and VOR/DME radio navigation systems to provide computed positional data corresponding thereto includes a circuit for generating an OMEGA compensation in accordance with the difference between the computed value of the positional data and the VOR/DME value thereof. The computed value is provided by algebraically adding the OMEGA compensation to the positional data from the OMEGA system. The gain of the OMEGA compensation circuit is adjusted in an inverse relation with respect to the range of the aircraft from the VOR/DME station thus providing high accuracy positional data throughout the enroute flight of the aircraft without the attendant complexities and inaccuracies normally associated with the separate OMEGA and VOR/DME radio navigation aids.

    摘要: A method of manufacturing methallyl sulfonate, which comprises: forming a sulfur trioxide-dialkyl sulfoxide complex by effecting reaction between sulfur trioxide and dialkyl sulfoxide as mixed at the ratio of more than 0.8 mol of the latter to 1 mol of the former in the presence of an inert solvent; effecting reaction between said complex and isobutylene, in an amount of 0.9-1.2 mols of isobutylene per 1 mol of sulfur trioxide, by applying a temperature in the range of 10.degree.-80.degree.C; and neutralizing the reaction product with a base.

    摘要: A vehicle locating system is disclosed which uses the carrier signals of unsynchronized commercial AM broadcasting stations to form hyperbolic isophase grid lines. Each vehicle is equipped with a three-channel receiver, each channel being tuned to a different one of three spaced apart stations to provide to a central station information of motion from a known position by counting isophase lines crossed. A stationary receiver similarly counts isophase lines, which cross some fixed location due to drift in the transmission of the unsynchronized stations, to provide drift information to be subtracted from the vehicle motion information.
