摘要: In a camera system according to the invention, a camera body and an interchangeable lens have respective identification data tables that are congruous with each other. As an appropriate data address is indicated to the interchangeable lens by the camera body, an identification data that is stored in the identification data storage section and corresponds to the indicated address is transmitted from the interchangeable lens to the camera body. The identification data judging section of the camera body compares the identification data transmitted back from the interchangeable lens and the identification data that is stored in the identification data storage section and corresponds to the address. As a result, it is determined if the dedicated accessory device is mounted on the camera body or not.

摘要: A lens-fitted photo film unit includes a photo film housing. A photo film roll chamber is formed in the photo film housing and pre-loaded with photo film in a roll form. A cassette holder chamber incorporates a photo film cassette, to wind the photo film therein after being exposed. A flash-emission main capacitor stores charge by a charging operation. A flash discharge tube emits flash light by a discharging operation of the charge. A flash circuit controls the main capacitor and the flash discharge tube for effecting the charging operation and the discharging operation. An EEPROM is incorporated in the photo film cassette. A write control IC is incorporated in the photo film housing, for writing information to EEPROM. A battery supplies the flash circuit and the write control IC with power. A charge control signal generator or BUSY terminal is disposed in the write control IC, and supplies the flash circuit with a low-level inhibit signal, to inhibit the flash circuit from effecting the charging operation. The write control IC controls the charge control signal generator, to write the information while the flash circuit is inhibited from effecting the charging operation. A power source voltage of the battery is prevented from dropping while the information is written.

摘要: A camera includes a first power supply output circuit which outputs a first stabilized power supply voltage, a second power supply output circuit which outputs a second stabilized power supply voltage lower than the first power supply voltage, a photocoupler which has a light emitting element and a light receiving element, a detecting circuit which detects an analog signal output from the light receiving element and converts the analog signal to a digital signal, and a processing circuit which performs processing based on the digital signal. The first power supply voltage feeds into the light emitting element as an operating voltage thereof. The second power supply voltage feeds into the light receiving element and feeds into the processing circuit as an operating voltage thereof. The camera allows stable operations of the processing circuit with minuter elements and the light emitting element.

摘要: A charging circuit detects a battery voltage Vp and a charging voltage of a main condenser. When a charge of the condenser is instructed, if the battery voltage is smaller than prescribed value Vpo, the charge is performed in a single control mode. And then, when the charging voltage of the main condenser is larger than a prescribed value Vco, the mode is changed to a push-pull control mode from the single control mode. When the charge of the condenser is instructed, if the battery voltage is larger than prescribed value Vpo, the charge is performed in a push-poll control mode independent of the charging voltage.

摘要: A data-imprinting apparatus for preventing the imprinting of incorrect dates in a lens-equipped film unit that lacks a monitor display unit for the confirmation of the date display. The lens-equipped film unit 1 contains a built-in data module 27 that lacks an external display unit that allows the confirmation of the date display from the outside. The data module 27 contains a transmission-type liquid crystal display unit 45 that automatically updates and displays dates based upon a pre-stored calendar. In the liquid crystal display unit 45, external light enters from the light collection window 15 on the front cover 12, thus creating a beam of data light. The data light, acting in concert with the shutter release operation, is guided into a dark box. The image-forming optical system that is provided in the dark box forms an image of the data light on a part of the photographic film. When a temporary disruption of the power supply from the battery 70 occurs due to vibrations, for example, the power supply monitoring circuit 75 that is incorporated in the data module 27 detects the event, transmits the off-mode signal to the LCD driver 73, and causes the display on the liquid crystal display unit 45 to enter into a non-display state.

In the mechanism in which a manual operation dial for switching among the plurality of types of power sources is rotated to slide an electrical contact piece over a predetermined electrically conductive/non-conductive pattern so that a desired power source type is selected, an electric conductivity/non-conductivity between an IC and a negative terminal changes, immediately before an electric power across a positive terminal and the negative terminal is changed from “ON” to “OFF”, and immediately after the electric power is changed from “OFF” to “ON”. In association with the change, the IC outputs a reset signal to the microcomputer of the camera.

摘要: In an electronic flash device, a driving circuit (12) drives a piezoelectric transformer (13) in response to an oscillation signal of a predetermined frequency, which is output from an oscillation circuit (11). A switch (14) is provided in series in a line that connects the output of the piezoelectric transformer (13) and a capacitor (3). When the switch (14) is ON, the output voltage from the piezoelectric transformer (13) is rectified by a rectifier circuit, and charges the discharge capacitor (3) as electric energy for discharging a discharge tube (4). When the switch (14) is turned off, and the output voltage from the piezoelectric transformer (13) is applied to the discharge tube (4), the discharge tube (4) emits flash light by the electric energy stored in the discharge capacitor (3) in response to that applied voltage as a trigger.
