    摘要: A lighting device that is capable of discriminating a type of an external power source device connected from among types of connectable devices without increasing the number of terminals of a connector. A connector is electrically connectable to an external power source device and includes a first terminal for supplying electric power from the external power source device to a main capacitor and a second terminal for discriminating a type of the external power source device. An obtaining unit obtains the information for discriminating the type of the external power source device by comparing a voltage value of a signal input to the second terminal from the external power source device with a predetermined voltage threshold when an attribute of the second terminal is set to an input. A discrimination unit discriminates the type of the external power source device by contrasting the information obtained with information stored.

    摘要: A method for triggering a resonant charging circuit for a device for generating short-wavelength radiation based on discharge plasma is described. Switching times of the resonant charging circuit are determined in a non-time-critical method segment by simulation and are stored to be repeatedly retrievable. Measurement values of the resonant charging circuit are determined in real time in a time-critical method segment. At least one second switching time (t2) at which a discharging switch of the resonant charging circuit is triggered in order to supply at a firing time (t3) a discharge voltage (Uwanted), and the firing time (t3) are calculated. The device has a first input unit, a first simulation unit, a first regression unit, a first measurement value unit, a first evaluation unit and a control unit for triggering a discharging switch of the resonant charging circuit.

Each flash device includes a flash generator including a voltage source and at least one flash unit. An input of the control circuit is adapted to couple with the camera and receive the flash activating signal. Outputs of the control circuit are adapted to electrically couple to control inputs of the flash generators. The control circuit includes a switching device adapted to drawn a supply voltage for the control circuit from the respective voltage sources in the flash generators.
