    摘要: A soft-serve freezer operates in a first mode, with both the auger and compressor operating, and a second energy saving mode in which only the refrigeration compressor operates. The control circuit monitors the power level to the auger to control the consistency of the mix. When the mix achieves a selected consistency, the auger discontinues its mixing function. Signal lights are provided to indicate when it is necessary to actuate the auger to obtain the desired consistency prior to dispensing the product and indicate that the mix has achieved the desired consistency.

    摘要: In a system for maintaining density of a printed color constant, a reading unit is connected with a unit measuring the reading signal. An amplitude measuring unit and a rated variable voltage source are connected with a comparator. The comparator is connected with a PID regulator, the signal of which is connected with a first adder which itself connects with a viscosity code setting potentiometer. The first adder is connected with a second adder connected to a viscosimeter. The signal produced by the second adder is sent to an amplifier connected with a command circuit for controlling mixer valves for ink and solvent. This command circuit can be locked or released by means of signals received from a level indicator in a tank. The command circuit also actuates a pump and a valve of a return circuit of the ink/solvent mixture. The system is employed for controlling and keeping constant color density of a print.

    摘要: Liquid feeds from the upper reservoir to the lower refrigerated chamber where it is frozen on the walls. The scrapers and blades in the lower chamber scrape ice from the walls and keep the liquid/ice mix agitated. The slush is drawn off to be served. As the ice content increases, the load on the scraper drive increases. When the desired consistency is reached, the control shuts down the refrigeration. The control responds to torque and requires a sustained torque for a predetermined period to respond and shut down the compressor. The compressor is not restarted until the torque has dropped to a predetermined lower value.
