    摘要: A system is configured to assist occupants of a building in response to an active shooter situation. A plurality of sensor units are arranged in the building to detect a gunshot and generate a signal indicative of the gunshot. A processing system determines an approximate location of the gunshot based on the signal and determines safe areas and unsafe areas in the building based on the approximate location of the gunshot. A plurality of output devices are in the building and in communication with the processing system. The output devices indicate an evacuation path within the safe areas with a first graphic and indicate the unsafe areas with a second graphic that is different from the first graphic. An indicator is arranged in a room and generates a lock down indication to notify occupants to stay in the room in response to the processing system receiving the signal.

A danger monitoring device comprises a microphone configured to continuously digitize environmental sound, a first memory, a first processor configured to determine whether a stored interval meets a threshold criteria for a dangerous event, and a first network interface configured to send a danger observation data to a server. The danger monitoring server comprises a second memory, a second processor configured to verify the dangerous event digitized by the danger monitoring device and determine an event location of the verified dangerous event, and a second network interface configured to send a danger alert. A danger mitigation device comprises a third network interface configured to receive the danger alert, a GPS receiver, a screen, a third memory comprising map data, and a third processor configured to render a map indicating at least a current location of the danger mitigation device, and the event location.

    摘要: A system, device and method deploys one or more cameras secured to ground-based and/or aerial devices along with one or more gunshot detection units (GDUs) to monitor an event for threats. Visual and audible signals received by the cameras and GDUs are sent to a central controller, which analyzes the received threat communications and issues appropriate communications according to a response protocol over a secure wireless network to intended recipients, including security/law enforcement personnel and members of the public attending the event. In various embodiments, a high intensity light source is provided for emitting high intensity light in the direction of any located gunshots or other relevant threat.

Implementations are configured to quickly and reliably report the room or portion of a room where gunfire is located. Innovations herein may ensure low false alarm rate by thresholding, pattern recognition and/or detecting the muzzle optical flash. In some embodiments, a review center with trained personnel may evaluate the incident before reporting to local authorities. The indoor system can be incorporated into an outdoor gunshot location system to better protect a local area such as a campus or a transportation hub. Systems and methods herein may involve features and functionality associated with additional resources, such as intercoms, cellphones, and access control, to provide mitigation of harm in case of a shooting.

    摘要: An event detection unit (EDU) for detecting an explosive event is provided. The EDU includes different types of sensors for measuring characteristics of an explosive event. The EDU includes an event notification component. The EDU also includes a processor that receives a measurement from the sensors and generates a combined non-event probability and a combined event probability based on that measurement that indicates a likelihood that an explosive event has not occurred or has occurred. The processor determines whether an explosive event has occurred based on the non-event probabilities and event probabilities. When an explosive event has been determined to occur, the processor directs the event notification component to output a notification that an explosive event has occurred.
