    摘要: A rotating mallet assembly for generating a continuous note from a standing bell includes a base, which is positionable on a substantially horizontal surface. A fastener engaged to an upper surface of the base can selectively engage a bottom of a standing bell so that the standing bell is removably engaged to the base. An arm is engaged to and extends from the base. A mallet is pivotally engaged to and extends from the arm distal from the base so that the mallet frictionally contacts a rim of the standing bell. A motor is engaged to the arm and is operationally engaged to the mallet. The motor is positioned to selectively rotate the mallet relative to the standing bell to excite continuous vibrations in the standing bell so that a continuous note is produced.

    摘要: Various doorbell monitoring devices and methods are presented herein. Such arrangements may be configured to be integrated with a previously-installed doorbell and a previously-installed chime unit. A first power source may be configured to power the doorbell monitor device separate from the previously-installed doorbell and the previously-installed chime unit. A plurality of electrical connectors may be present and may be configured to be attached with preexisting terminals of the previously-installed chime unit. An actuation sensor may be present and configured to detect an actuation of the previously-installed doorbell via the two or more electrical connectors. A communication module may also be present and configured to transmit a wireless signal indicative of the ring to a receiver device.

    摘要: A motor driven bell for producing a sound of a bell in a manner that a hammer member hits a gong through the use of a driving force of a motor. The motor driven bell comprises a supporting shaft A1 born on a front side between a pair of opposed frames, a forward and backward swingable shaft A2 suspended by a suspending arm A3 under the supporting arm A1, a supporting shaft B1 born at a rear portion between the pair of frames, and a forward and backward swingable shaft B2 suspended by a suspending arm B3 under the supporting shaft B1, a forward and backward swingable hammer member held by the swingable shafts A2, B2, and a gong to be hit with the hammer member. A crank mechanism is provided for converting rotation of a shaft of the drive motor into a swinging motion of the swingable shaft B2, thereby hitting the gong by the hammer member to produce the bell sound.

    摘要: A contactless signaling device for operating a horn or bell is disclosed. The signaling device has an electro-magnetic coil which drives an armature. A light source is positioned opposite a light sensor and a shutter portion of the armature moves between the source and the sensor periodically blocking the light flow. The light sensor is in electrical communication with the electro-magnetic coil. A spring connected to the armature moves the shutter portion when current is not supplied to the coil thereby supplying the desired pulsing as the armature striker engages a horn diaphragm or bell gong.

    摘要: A motor bell alarm comprises an electric motor and a linkage by which the rotational motion generated by an electric motor is translated to a longitudinal oscillating motion so as to cause a plunger coupled to the linkage to cyclically strike a shell, thereby creating a ringing sound. The volume and clarity of the ringing sound are enhanced by minimizing the time in which the plunger is in contact with the shell and by minimizing the rest mass that is in contact with the shell as it is struck by interposing a lost-motion connection between the plunger and the linkage to the electric motor, whereby upon and after striking the shell the plunger is mechanically uncoupled from the lever.

    摘要: A device for striking a bell comprises a hammer head having a head portion composed of hard material and another head portion composed of soft material to obtain both hard and soft sounding bell rings. The hammer head is connected to a rockable striking hammer lever which is driven with a rocking motion by a rotating eccentric cam to cause the hammer head to strike the bell. The center of rocking motion of the striking hammer lever can be shifted both manually and automatically to selectively vary the hardness and softness of the bell ring.
