Abstract: A method for generating a solar field layout includes receiving terrain parameters correspond to topographical data associated with a geographical region of interest on which a prospective solar field is to be built, and receiving engineering tolerance parameters associated with installation height of a torque tube of a prospective row of solar panels. A solar panel row layout profile is generated for each prospective row of the prospective solar field based on the topographical data and based on the engineering tolerance parameters. The solar panel row layout profile of each prospective row of a plurality of rows is aggregated to determine a common level mounting height of the torque tube across each of consecutive prospective rows of solar panels to generate a solar panel row group. A solar field design corresponding to the prospective solar field is generated to include a plurality of solar panel row groups.

Abstract: A cable swivel for inductive power couplings for powering pool or spa components is provided. A swivel component allows a power cable to a pool or spa component, such as an electric pool cleaner, to swivel when the inductive power couplings are coupled together. The couplings include a first inductive coupling that can be positioned within and/or mounted into a wall fitting, a second inductive coupling that inductively couples with the first inductive coupling, and a swivel component attached to the second inductive coupling for allowing the second coupling to swivel with respect to the first inductive coupling. A retainer ring engages with the wall fitting and retains the first and second couplings and the swivel component in position within the wall fitting.

A power cable is connected at one end to the second inductive power coupling and at an opposite end to a pool or spa component, such as an electric cleaner. Swiveling of the second power coupling relative to the first power coupling reduces kinking of the power cable.

Abstract: A method for efficiently sealing the back of photovoltaic modules as part of a repair. The photovoltaic modules pass through several process stages one after another, beginning with a selection of repairable photovoltaic modules, their anonymization and cleaning, followed by further process stages. The further process steps include drying, coating, and treating the coating with pulsed infrared radiation. The process is completed with a check of the process and a functional test using a flash test. The process conditions and apparatus configurations in the process stages are described in detail.
