摘要： Delivery parcel detection systems can include a doorbell having a first wireless communication system and a parcel holding system configured for placement in an entryway. The doorbell can be communicatively coupled to the parcel holding system. The parcel holding system can comprise a sensor configured to detect a delivery parcel located on the parcel holding system. Systems can include a first communication sent from the parcel holding system to the doorbell in response to the parcel holding system detecting an arrival, a movement, or a removal of the delivery parcel. Systems can also include a second communication sent from the doorbell to a remote computing device in response to the doorbell receiving the first communication.

摘要： A method of operating a doorbell system can include receiving, by a remote computing device, a notification of an emergency event and in response to the receiving, illuminating at least one light of a doorbell to indicate an occurrence of the emergency event. The method can further include, in response to receiving the notification, initiating a communication with an emergency dispatcher and/or an emergency contact. The at least one light can illuminate in a variety of colors and illumination patterns corresponding to the type of emergency event.

The waterproof button assembly is configured to receive a user press on a button top, block water from entering the electronic device, and display a visual pattern uniformly at a peripheral region of the button assembly using LEDs and light guide component that are disposed under the button top.

摘要： A media device, such as a set-top-box, may receive an indication that a video doorbell on the premises has been activated. The indication may activate an application associated with the video doorbell within the set-top-box. While the application is in use, a communication pathway may be created between the set-top-box and the video doorbell. For example, audio and/or video detected by the video doorbell may be sent, directly or indirectly, via the application, to the set-top-box for display on a television or other display. Furthermore, while the application is in use, user voice data for a user associated with the media device may be captured by a voice-enabled remote control and routed to the set-top-box or smart television and then to the video doorbell for output at the video doorbell.

摘要： Methods and systems for improved quality of a streaming session using multiple simultaneous streams. For the multiple simultaneous streams an audio/video device (A/V device) records and generates a high-resolution stream and a low-resolution stream for simultaneous transmission to a server. The server selects one of the two streams for retransmission to a destination client device. The server also monitors the streaming session and estimates a total available bandwidth between the server and the A/V device and assigns a confidence value to the bandwidth estimation. The server periodically transmits the bandwidth estimate and confidence value to the A/V device to improve the efficiency of the streams being generated by the A/V device. The A/V device can use the received bandwidth estimate and confidence value to adapt the resolution of each of the streams to efficiently use the total available bandwidth between the A/V device and the server.

摘要： A doorbell system can be used to block a first electricity that is less than a first threshold from entering an electronic chime. By blocking the first electricity from entering the electronic chime, the electronic chime is not allowed to emit a notification sound. The doorbell system can also be used to allow a second electricity that is greater than the first threshold to enter the electronic chime. By allowing the second electricity to enter the electronic chime, this can allow the electronic chime to emit a notification sound in response to a visitor being present.
