摘要: A tensioning device is provided for a surge arrester having an end fitting and tensioner. The tensioning device has an axial clearance for receiving a tensioner and a region being conically tapered in axial direction to be introduced into a clearance of the end fitting being shaped for a substantially exact fit. The conically tapered region has delimitation walls defining the axial clearance for the tensioner being movable toward a clearance interior. An antifriction layer is applied to the surface of the conically tapered region. A production method for a surge arrester and a corresponding surge arrester are also provided.

摘要: A surge arrester (1) includes varistor elements (2) forming a stack (3) and having opposed end surfaces (4a, 4b). The varistor stack is electrically connected via the opposed end surfaces to end terminals (7a, 7b) having circumferential ridges (32a, 32b), which, in the event of failure of the varistor elements, are designed to relocate the resulting arc and direct it in a manner which reduces or minimizes damage to the surge arrester. The ridges serve as damage-tolerant sacrificial rooting points for an arc in the event of varistor element failure by presenting a substantial metal mass for the arc to erode away.

摘要: A transmitting and receiving circuit that transmits and receives signals using coaxial cables includes an input/output terminal that delivers and receives signals, a first port, a second port, a switch, and a ceramic-based electro-static discharge protector. The first port transfers a transmitted signal in a first transmission frequency band width and a received signal in a first reception frequency band width. The second port transfers a transmitted signal in a second transmission frequency band width and a received signal in a second reception frequency band width. The switch connects a common port to one of the first port and the second port. The common port is connected to the input/output terminal on one end of the common port and to the switch on the other end. The electro-static discharge protector is connected between the common port and the ground potential.

摘要: A surge arrester includes at least two connection fittings and a one-piece frame, the frame holding the connection fittings. The frame is formed of an insulating material. The surge arrester includes at least one block of varistor material clamped between the connection fittings. The surge arrester further includes an insulating material in which the frame, the block of varistor material and at least part of the connection fittings are cast to form a monolithic body. An arrangement is provided for maintaining a contact force between the connection fittings and the block of varistor material.

摘要: The present application provides a surge protection circuit, a lightning protector and an electronic device. The surge protection circuit includes a first protection module, the first protection module comprises a first protection sub-module and a second protection sub-module electrically connected to the first protection sub-module. The first protection sub-module is used for surge protection during a first surge input, the second protection sub-module is used for surge protection during a second surge input protection, and the second surge strength is higher than the strength of the first surge. The surge protection circuit, lightning protection and electronic equipment could provide different levels of surge protection for different levels of surge and could greatly enhance the sensitivity of lightning protection.
