摘要： A device for operating multiple functions includes an operating element and a base. The base has side bearings with guide slots, hinge joints with pivot pins, and an actuator. The operating element is mounted in the guide slots to pivotably be mounted to the side bearings about an axis of rotation to thereby be movable between positions. At least one of the positions is assigned to a switching function. The operating element is mounted to the base on a centered bearing between the side bearings. The operating element is supported on the pivot pins. Upon the operating element being actuated to trigger a switching function, the actuator produces a haptic feedback by generating an actuating force on the operating element which causes the pivot pins to pivot in a direction parallel to the axis of rotation thereby causing the operating element to axially displace along this same direction.

摘要： A structure for mounting a temperature switch on a compressor of a vehicle air-conditioner is disclosed. The switch has a cylindrical metal container and a thermally responsive element disposed on a container bottom. The structure includes a housing recess for housing the switch, a fixing cover including an upper cover and one or plural band-shaped legs downwardly extending from a peripheral edge of the cover and housed in the recess with the switch, and one or plural claws formed on the fixing cover legs. When the switch is housed in the recess, the claws are engaged with an inner surface of the recess to be locked. An adhesive is interposed between the switch and the recess when the switch is housed in the recess. The legs are constructed so that parts of the legs are buried in the adhesive when the switch is housed in the recess.

摘要： A temperature control device is provided in a refrigerator having at least one compartment (RC or FC) defined by top, bottom and opposite side walls (TW; BW; and SW), and a heat insulating material (12) exteriorly encircling the compartment. One of the side walls (SW) has a mounting hole (2) defined therein and a front surface thereof confronts the compartment (RC or FC). The device includes a box-like console (C), and a circuit carrier board (3) fixedly connected to a rear surface of the console (C). Electric wiring (11) extends outwardly from the circuit carrier board, and a display panel (30) is disposed on a front surface of the console (C). At least one manipulatable temperature control element (31a, 31b, 31c: PB, LED) is mounted on the console (C), and a hat-like console casing (13) having a peripheral flange (10) is fixedly secured to the side wall (SW) in alignment with the mounting hole (2). The peripheral flange (10) is held in abutment with a rear surface of the side wall (SW) so as to define a console pocket (CP). Also, a plurality of mounting elements (6a, 6b; 55) are engaged with an outer surface of the side wall (SW) around the mounting hole (2) for securing the console (C) to the side wall (SW). The console (C) is received in the console pocket (CP) with the electric wiring (11) accommodated within the console pocket (CP) and with the display panel (30) and the temperature control element confronting the compartment.

摘要： A temperature switch assembly which includes a bimetal element inserted into a holder body and secured in place by a mating shell is presented. The holder body is constructed so that it may be screwed into existing bore holes of the vessel or engine. The bimetal element is formed with tangs on its base so that expansion and contraction effects due to temperature changes are compensated thus ensuring calibration of temperature switch over prolonged usage. The mating shell includes a switch contact. When the bimetal element reaches a predetermined temperature, the bimetal element makes contact with the switch contact and completes the circuit. The circuit is connected to a warning device which is actuated when the circuit is completed.

摘要： A manual reset electrical protector (10, 10') has a reset assembly (26, 26') having a guideway (28a, 28a') and track (28c, 28c') in which a slide member (30, 34, 34') is movable between a protracted position interrupting the movement of a movable electrical contact (22) mounted on a thermostatic disc (20) to preventg engagement of the movable contact with a stationary electrical contact (24) and a retracted position in which the movable contact is allowed to move unfettered into the contacts engagement position. A push button (32, 32') has a cam member (32a, 32a') which, when the push button is depressed, rides against a follower (30b, 34b) attached to the slide member, causing the slide member to move to the retracted position against the bias of a spring (30d, 36). The movable contact (22) prevents movement of the slide member to the blocking, protracted position when in the contacts engaged position.
