    摘要: An apparatus includes an accessory module for a ground monitor that monitors current in a pilot conductor and/or a grounding conductor, which is in a power cable assembly connecting a power source and load. The pilot conductor injects a signal in the grounding conductor. The accessory module includes signal connectors that include multiple connection points. Each connection point provides access to a signal within the ground monitor. The connection points access signals for an output of a circuit monitoring current in the pilot conductor or ground return, a circuit responding to a peak current in the pilot conductor or ground return transitioning below a threshold, a circuit responding to an average current in the grounding conductor transitioning below a threshold, and/or a circuit indicating trip status of a contact in the power source. The connection point signals are in addition to signals from the ground monitor to the power source.

    摘要: A switchgear control apparatus includes a zero point interval detecting circuit, an interruption time judgment circuit and a reclosing time decision circuit. The zero point interval detecting circuit detects time intervals between successive zero points of a main circuit current. The interruption time judgment circuit judges that interruption time of the main circuit current is time of a zero point immediately preceding a zero point at which a difference between the time interval between two successive zero points and half the period of a commercial AC voltage exceeds a specific value. Upon detecting the gradient of the main circuit current at the interruption time, the reclosing time decision circuit sets reclosing time at a point in phase where the AC voltage has a maximum negative value if the gradient is positive, and at a point in phase where the AC voltage has a maximum positive value if the gradient is negative.

    摘要: A power supply circuit interrupts power to a load in response to a short-circuit or an open-circuit condition and automatically restores power after a momentary short-circuit. A short-circuit detector monitors the current flowing through the load and generates a short-circuit signal if the current exceeds a predetermined level. An open-circuit detector monitors the load voltage and generates an open-circuit signal if the voltage exceeds a predetermined level. A latch converts the short-circuit signal to a latch signal. A logic unit combines the latch signal with the open-circuit signal and a pulse signal from a pulse generator to generate a drive signal. A driver uses the drive signal to control a switch which is connected between the power source and the load to interrupt power to the load. During a short-circuit, a timer generates a periodic pulse signal that toggles the latch signal and intermittently restarts the power to the load. If the short-circuit was of short duration, power is restored to the load. If the short-circuit persists, the power supply circuit continues to intermittently restore power to the load until the short-circuit is removed. The logic unit also generates a fault signal in response to the latch signal and the open-circuit signal. A display unit generates a visual alarm in response to the fault signal to indicate an abnormal state.

    摘要: An apparatus for supplying power to a peripheral device of a computer directly from the system power supply is disclosed. An expansion interface connector or a standard interface connector is used for providing power to the peripheral device. Either one or two electronic switching devices control the supply of power to the interface connector. A voltage output line, a control line and a ground line are connected to three pins of the interface connector. The peripheral device has a matched connector comprising three pins corresponding to the three pins of the interface connector. The peripheral device can be powered up and in operation when it is connected to the interface connector. A short protection mechanism is provided to avoid damaging the computer system when the peripheral device is not connected.
