    摘要: In an alternator stator for vehicle, each of the phase-windings includes first and second coil-end groups at opposite axial ends the stator core. Each of the slots includes radially aligned six layers. Each of the phase-windings comprises a plurality of sets of U-shaped segments disposed in a pair of slots separated from each other by a pole-pitch and a plurality of connection segments formed from the U-shaped segments. Each of the sets includes a large segment having a pair of the conductor members disposed in the innermost and the outermost layers, a medium segment having a pair of the conductor members disposed in the layers inside the innermost and the outermost layers to be surrounded by the large segment at the first coil-end group, a small segment having a pair of conductor members respectively disposed in the middle two layers to be surrounded by the medium segment at the first coil-end group. The small segment of one of the sets is connected in series with the small segment of another adjacent thereto at the second coil-end group to form a wave winding. The large segment of one of the sets is connected in series with the medium segment of another of the sets adjacent thereto at the second coil-end group to form a lap winding. The wave winding and the lap winding are connected in series by the connection segments to form one of the plurality of phase-windings.

    摘要: An electric motor is provided with active hysteresis-based control of winding current. The motor has an efficient stator winding arrangement, as well as at least one adjustable air gap. Also provided is a stator, windings and air gap adjustment mechanism, as well as a method and system for controlling the torque produced by the motor using active hysteresis-based control of the motor's winding currents. The stator has its windings distributed among arc sections, the windings in each arc section being associated with only one phase of the motor. The hysteresis-based control of winding current is active in that a bandwidth or spread of the hysteresis band is adjusted depending on at least one of several selectively determined factors. The motor and its associated components are particularly well-suited for use in an electrically powered vehicle, as well as in hybrid vehicles using both electric power from a battery and electric power derived from a fuel-burning engine. A current detector is provided for generating outputs indicative of current flowing through each of three phase windings in a motor, based on detected magnitudes of current flowing through only two of the phase windings. Also provided is a discharge device for discharging residual voltage on a power bus of an electric vehicle.

    摘要: Known turn-to-turn windings with overlapping conductor lanes either only insufficiently use the groove space or are difficult to produce. In addition, uniform distribution of current density is not achieved in the winding overhang space. The disclosed multiple phase conductor layers are made of identical conductor lanes located in the groove space at the same distance from the air gap surface. The conductor layers stacked in the grooves complement each other in the use of the winding overhang space in that they lead the current in opposite directions across the width of the groove. Uniform distribution of current density and high space utilization are achieved in that the layered winding overhangs are offset in relation to the layers in the grooves in direction of the groove depth by one half the height of a layer. Each conductor lane occupies two winding overhang layers when passing through the winding overhangs, the transition between layers taking place at about the middle of the middle of the connection section at the outside of the winding overhangs. The conductor layers once removed are connected with each other. Motors and generators equipped with space-optimized turn-to-turn windings are characterized by high efficiency and power density.

    摘要: A vehicular alternator includes a stator, a rotor, and a housing. The stator has a stator core with a plurality of slots, and a stator coil passing through the slots. The stator coil is constructed of a plurality of electric conductors. Each electric conductor has insert portions located in the slot and a connecting portion connecting the insert portions axially outside of the stator core. The connecting portion has a first curve portion and a second curve portion. The first curve portion is located adjacent to an outer diameter of the stator core and the second curve portion is located adjacent to an inner diameter of the stator core. The first curve portion has curvature larger than that of the second curve portion.
