摘要: A chroma-key signal generator is provided which may be utilized to effect an electronic insertion of a picture into another picture, by utilizing a color television signal. The generator includes a first color selection/clip circuit which selects any desired hue signal from three primary color signals and clips it at a given level to provide a first key signal, a second color selection/clip circuit which selects a hue signal of a different hue from the first mentioned hue signal, from the three primary color signals, and clips it at a given level to provide a second key signal, and a logical and arithmetic circuit which logically operates on the first and the second key signal to provide an output signal which is utilized as a key signal.

摘要: The system herein for use in a television camera system normally generates contour correction signals from the green video signals but when the green video signal level falls below a predetermined level, the contour correction signals are also generated from the red video signal. The system allows for normal misregistration of the camera by extending the green video signal beyond the normal time period and by delaying the red video signal approximately one-half the amount the green video signal is extended to center the red signal with respect to the extended green video signal. The extended green video signal and delayed red video signals are compared and when the delayed red video signal amplitude exceeds the green video signal amplitude by a predetermined amount the difference signal contributes to the generation of the contour correction signals.

摘要: A digital signal processing circuit, for example, a digital signal adder circuit suitable for use in a digital color encoder for generating a digital composite color video signal from three digital primary color signals. At least two input digital signals are respectively supplied to a signal delay circuit which generates the digital signal in the form of skew bits wherein the higher bit is given a larger delay. The output signals of the signal delay circuit are supplied to an adder circuit in which the small number of bits of the digital signals are added during one clock interval. And, the output signal of the adder circuit is supplied to a further delay circuit which generates a digital signal in the form of linear bits wherein any bit in originally the same clock interval is given the same delay.

摘要: A sub carrier phase shifting circuit for use in digital television equipment comprising at least two monostable multivibrators connected in cascade. The sub carrier signal is applied to the first multivibrator. Adjusting means are connected to the control inputs of each multivibrator for adjusting the monostable period of the multivibrators. On receipt of an edge of a sub carrier wave the first multivibrator is driven from a first state to a second state whereby the first multivibrator effects a change of state at its output. The first multivibrator resets to its first state after the monostable period determined by the adjusting means to give an output delayed in relation to the edge of the sub carrier wave. The delayed output causes the second multivibrator to be driven from one state to its other whereby the second multivibrator effects a change of state at its output. The second multivibrator resets to its first state after the monostable period of the second multivibrator has elapsed, to give an output further delayed in relation to the edge of the sub carrier wave.
