摘要: An apparatus for rotationally grinding, pulverizing, or comminuting bulk materials. A material processing component of the apparatus is fed at an input end by a hopper. The material enters the material processing component for processing and is propelled out of an output end through an outlet into a tray or piping. A cylinder of the material processing component is protected by an exterior insulating compartment and a replaceable inner liner. The cylinder defines a horizontal stationary work area. A rotatable shaft penetrates the cylinder along an axis of the working area. A plurality of working bodies are attached to the shaft in a narrowing helical orientation that also narrows in distance between working bodies from front to back. The working bodies are configured to comminute the material and direct it toward the outlet as the material passes through the working area.

摘要: A horizontally fed disk grinding system includes a tray coupled to a trailer for receiving bulk material. The system further includes a grind hub coupled to the trailer and a cutter disk coupled to the grind hub. The grind hub is structured to rotate about a grind hub axis and the cutter disk is structured to rotate about a cutter disk axis and about the grind hub axis. A grind ring is coupled to the trailer and is structured to slide to engage the grind hub during use. A plurality of plates are coupled to the tray and structured to oscillate to feed material from the tray to the grind hub and the cutter disk, where the material is reduced to particulate form. The grind hub further includes an outlet and a conveyor rotatably coupled to the trailer to convey the particulate material away from the outlet to a selected location.

摘要: A continuous kneading apparatus including: a stationary portion having an internal space where matter is conveyed; a rotary disc member and a screw member which are configured to convey the matter in the internal space; a drive shaft member to which the rotary disc member and the screw member are fixed; and a cooling medium passage through which a cooling medium passes, wherein the cooling medium passage is provided for the screw member which is placed upstream of the rotary disc member with respect to the conveyance direction of the matter, wherein the cooling medium passing in the cooling medium passage is lower in temperature than the matter passing in the internal space, and wherein the matter passes in the internal space while provided with shear force by rotation of the drive shaft member and thus continuously kneaded, and while cooled by the cooling medium.

摘要: A blower beater mill in which a rotor has a beater portion provided with beater arms in the form of two interconnected parts. Beater arm bases are fastened in hub rings of the shaft of the rotor, and fastening elements of two beater arm portions are located above shaft crests of the hub rings. Cover elements are located axially with the rotor in a free space between the beater arm bases, and these cover elements are located on a diameter between the shaft crests of the hub rings and the fastening elements of the beater arm portions. Openings pass through the beater arm bases between the cover elements and the shaft crests of the hub rings in the axial direction of the rotor. An opening in one beater arm base is aligned with the opening in the corresponding beater arm base of the following beater arm rows. The cover elements have an outside jacket which surrounds the shaft crests of the hub rings at a distance. The jacket has cutouts for accommodating the beater arm bases. The cover elements, furthermore, are connected to the beater arm bases, and they are tip-stretched as lateral connecting pieces to the beater arm bases. The narrower side walls of the centered beater arm bases face the side walls of adjacent beater arm bases of the same beater arm row, at a slight distance.

摘要: An impact pulverizer mounts a rotor concentrically within an octagonal shaped reduction chamber. The rotor has a substantially solid core and generally radially extending impact blades, each of which slopes in the axial direction of the rotor. Upon rotation of the rotor, the blades strike pulverizable material and propel the same radially of the chamber and against the interior walls thereof. The slope of the blades moves the pieces longitudinally of the chamber from the intake toward the egress end in a generally spiral rotational motion as the pieces ricochet off the interior walls and back against the rotor blades, striking each other as they so progress. The striking and ricocheting cause the pieces to break up and be reduced in size as they travel towards an outfeed opening.

摘要: The replaceable striking plate, which has a leading impact face, extends between opposite rotor rings of a disintegrating mill, and provides the basis of an impact system. The leading impact face extends rearwardly from its inner edge toward its outer edge at an angle with respect to a radius substantially within the range of fifteen (15) degrees to thirty (30) degrees for the major portion of its radial height, and extends relatively forwardly to its outer edge for a minor portion of its radial height. The major impact face portion has sufficient radial height so that a slug of particles striking the face will all impact on that face without some particles over-shooting the top and thereby missing impact. A clean face surface is provided for the impact of each succeeding "slug or ribbon sheet" of particles as they strike the face. A portion of the new slug does not impact onto a bed of old particles still remaining on the impact face from a previous slug. The radial height of the plate rearwardly from the impact face between the inner and outer edges is sufficient to maintain substantially the same angle and height of the major impact face portion during use and wear. The minor impact fact portion has sufficient radial height to accommodate a wash area at the juncture of the major and minor face portion as wear occurs. Integral flanges provided at each end of the plate and extending forwardly of the leading impact face, are provided with outwardly converging, flow-directing side surfaces adjacent the leading impact face and extending from the inner to the outer edge. The attachment of the striking plate between the rotor rings compresses the striking plate endwise for increased material strength.
