摘要: Exemplary embodiments seek to eliminate or reduce fouling enabled by atmospheric oxygen entering the airspace of the well column. An inerting gas is used to flush atmospheric oxygen out of the well airspace. Once atmospheric air in the well gas-column has been replaced with an inerting gas, the well is sealed and pressurized with the inerting gas. The introduction of atmospheric oxygen back into the system through leaks is overcome by keeping a small, positive pressure-differential between the well-column gas pressure and the atmosphere. Results, as described herein, have shown the removal of atmospheric oxygen from the system can greatly reduce, or eliminate, both chemical and biological fouling as well as reduce or eliminate the need for well cleaning treatments.

摘要: Disclosed herein is a pipe assembly comprising: a pipe with an electrically conductive wall with a thermally conductive outer coating; a first electrical connector that is arranged in electrical contact with the wall of the pipe; and a second electrical connector that is arranged in electrical contact with the wall of the pipe; wherein the first and second electrical connectors are arranged to support the flow of an electrical current through the wall of the pipe to thereby heat the wall of the pipe; and in use, the pipe is arranged to allow cooling of the outer surface of the wall of the pipe by the surrounding environment of the pipe when the outer surface of the wall of the pipe is hotter than its surrounding environment. Advantageously, embodiments provide an effective, efficient and less expensive technique for heating the pipe in order to remove deposits for the inner walls of the pipes. Applications include the subsea application of cooling oil well products for cold flow.

摘要: The invention is directed towards methods and compositions for treating piles of particulate materials to inhibit and prevent the loss of valuable fuel or mineral dust from being released from storage piles or open containers. The method involves applying separately to the pile two different compositions. When separate the two compositions are low viscosity and easy to spray. When combined the two form a gel coating that is resistant to erosion but is flexible while the pile or payload is still settling, jostling, being bumped, and otherwise moving around. This coating is especially effective for coal piles, iron ore piles, and also for piles within and/or being moved by open topped railroad cars. The coating's flexibility prevents the coating from becoming brittle and shattering. The coating has better performance than its ingredients do alone. As a result the invention can both prevent unwanted dust pollution as well as save its users money by avoiding loss of blown away material.

摘要: A liquid residue on a bottom surface of a substrate can be reduced while placing the substrate accurately. A liquid processing apparatus includes an inclined portion, a plurality of supporting members, a processing liquid supply unit and a rotation unit. The inclined portion is provided under the substrate, and has an inclined surface which is inclined downwards from an outer side of the substrate toward an inner side thereof and is extended along a circumferential direction of the substrate. The supporting members are protruded from the inclined surface and configured to support the substrate from below. The processing liquid supply unit is configured to supply a processing liquid onto a top surface of the substrate. The rotation unit is configured to rotate the inclined portion. Further, each of the supporting members has a long narrow shape extended from the outer side of the substrate toward the inner side thereof.

摘要: A machine tool has a cover that prevents chips generated by machining and cutting fluid from scattering around and a plurality of movable nozzles with liquid discharge directions thereof being movable so as to wash out chips that have adhered to or accumulated on an inner surface of the cover. The machine tool is capable of changing a discharge direction of each of the movable nozzles individually. The machine tool compares the state of the inside of the cover before start of machining with the state of the inside of the cover after chips are generated to determine an adhesion or accumulation state of chips. The machine tool thus calculates the liquid discharge direction to wash out chips from the movable nozzles based on a result of the determination.

摘要: A tool designed to remove and prevent the buildup of dirt and calcium, as well as hard watermarks on pool tile. The tool includes a 180-degree swivel pole mount handle that attaches to an extendable pole. The tool may include an adjustable arm to allow the scrubbing surface to reach around the edge of the pool and beneath to the tile border along the waterline. The scrubbing surface may include a plate mounted on a swivel (pivotable) with interchangeable scrubbing attachments. The tool may include at last one non-marking caster wheel to allow the tool to be rolled along the deck of the pool without causing any damage. When operated, the tool allows a user to stand upright, rolling the tool along the deck of the pool while the adjustable arm reaches below the deck to bring the scrubbing surface into contact with the tile border along the water line.

摘要: A system for on-wing engine washing and water reclamation is provided. The system has at least one spray device for introducing a cleaning liquid containing at least water into the engine while the engine is being operated, and an effluent trough for collecting the cleaning liquid from an exit end or underneath side of the engine. In a preferred embodiment, a source of the cleaning liquid and the effluent trough are located on a mobile unit. Further, a treatment system for treating the collected cleaning liquid is also located on a mobile unit.
