    摘要: A method of manufacturing a coil spring and a coil spring manufacturing apparatus are provided that enable precise forming of a coil spring even when various kinds of wire rods are used as a wire rod. This is based on the premise that the wire material being fed out is serially pressed against a rotating roller outer circumferential surface to form the wire rod into a coil shape. Under this premise, as the wire rod is fed out, a rotating roller is rotationally driven by a rotary drive force of a servomotor such that a portion pressed against the wire rod on the rotating roller outer circumferential surface moves toward the advancing side of the wire rod.

    摘要: A method for producing a flat spiral spring formed as an annular disk-shaped segment, wherein a strip-shaped material is supplied in a tangential alignment to the lateral surface of the drum such that a lateral wall which determines the thickness of the strip-shaped material rests against some sections of a contact surface on the lateral surface of the drum. The contact surface of the drum has a radius which substantially corresponds to an internal radius of the strip-shaped material, and at least one deflecting device is aligned at a distance to the drum such that the strip-shaped material is guided in a forced manner between the drum and the deflecting device, and the strip-shaped material is bent so as to follow the drum by means of the deflecting device.

    摘要: A coil spring manufacturing device includes a mandrel around which a wire is wound, a feed mechanism which feeds the wire toward the mandrel, guide members which guide the wire, a chuck which fixes a distal end of the wire, and a clamp mechanism. The clamp mechanism sandwiches the wire from both sides before the distal end of the wire reaches the mandrel. Further, the clamp mechanism can be rotated about a fulcrum by rotation actuator, and can also be slid in a direction along an axis of the mandrel by sliding actuator. In a state in which the wire is sandwiched by the clamp mechanism, the clamp mechanism is rotated, and if necessary, is slid. Thereby, a bent portion for a negative pitch portion of a coil spring is formed at a part of the wire.
