摘要: In a pneumatic tire, a partial tie rubber layer is disposed between a carcass layer and an innerliner layer in a limited manner across an entire region excluding end portions near a pair of bead portions; end surfaces on both sides in a tire lateral direction of the partial tie rubber layer are inclined surfaces that form an acute angle with respect to a surface of the partial tie rubber layer on the carcass layer side; and an inclination angle of the inclined surfaces with respect to the surface of the partial tie rubber layer on the carcass layer side is from 20° to 60°.

摘要: One or more embodiments of the present invention provide a method for applying a dual compound coextruded continuous strip of a first compound and a second compound, the method comprising a first extruder for processing a first compound and a second extruder for processing a second compound, wherein the outlet from the first extruder is in fluid communication with a first channel of a housing, and the outlet from the second extruder is in fluid communication with a second channel of the housing, wherein a gear pump is positioned in each channel, wherein a nozzle is in fluid communication with an outlet of the first channel and an outlet of the second channel, and a coextruded continuous strip is produced. The ratio of the first compound to the second compound may be adjusted instantaneously.

摘要: An automatic splicing apparatus is provided herein for splicing together two ends of a sheet of tire material on a tire building drum. The apparatus comprises a splicer foot including a splicer foot frame, a first continuous unitary V-shaped axle, and two non-powered lower rollers. The splicer foot frame has an opening defined therein having opposing sides. The first continuous unitary V-shape axle has two arms attached to the opposing sides of the opening. The two non-powered lower rollers are mounted on the two arms of the first continuous unitary V-shaped axle so that the two non-powered lower rollers are arranged in a V-shape pattern. The apparatus further comprises a plurality of powered upper rollers configured to operate in coordination with the lower rollers to engage the two ends of the sheet of tire material.

摘要: A manufacturing device for an unvulcanized band-shaped rubber member is provided. A position sensor detects, across a width direction of the band-shaped rubber member, leading and trailing ends of the band-shaped rubber member placed in a flat state on a conveyor, holding portions arranged side by side in the width direction hold at least one of the leading or trailing ends, with movement portions allowing the holding portions to move individually in a front-rear direction, the leading and the trailing ends are held by the leading and trailing end holding mechanisms, respectively, and a control unit controls a displacement of the movement portions in the front-rear direction based on data from the position sensor and a target length to adjust elongation in the front-rear direction at or near a held portion held by each of the holding portions to achieve the target length of the band-shaped rubber member.

摘要: The device comprises at least one module for stitching the tread and a means for moving the module vertically and horizontally. The stitching module comprises a frame which is provided with a fixed stitching assembly, equipped with spikes, and at least one mobile stitching assembly. The at least one mobile stitching assembly comprises at least one stitching plate provided at the base of same with at least one planar horizontal contact surface, from which at least two spikes protrude. The plate is arranged in a vertical guide space provided in the frame such that the spikes protrude downwards and such that it is free to move vertically in this space over a limited travel path. The device also includes a vertical movement device for moving the plate from the top downwards in this guide space and a device for locking the altitude position of the plate in this space.

The second cover material is disposed from a position between the shoulder region (Ash) on the first side and the tire equatorial plane to the shoulder region on the second side. The first cover material and the second cover material have an overlapping portion at a position where positions in the tire width direction become positions identical to one another.

摘要: Cord ply joiner for a tire includes a first pressurizer having first pressing member and first pressure receiving member in upper and lower sides, and a second pressurizer having second pressing member and second pressure receiving member in the upper and lower sides. A first code ply positioning mechanism positions a first code ply by bringing a tail end of the first code ply into contact with a side surface of the second pressure receiving member, a first code ply fixing mechanism lowers the cord end pressing member so the first cord ply is fixed, and a second code ply positioning mechanism positions the tip of the second code ply by bringing the tip into contact with a side surface of the cord end pressing member. The first pressurizer and the second pressurizer are brought close to each other, whereby a shearing force is applied to an overlapped portion.

摘要: A method for controlling the thickness of a continuous elongated element made of elastomeric material, applied according to coils wound on a forming support, includes: advancing a head end of the continuous elongated element toward the forming support; subjecting, during the advancement, the continuous elongated element to a first stretching with a first stretch coefficient before applying on the forming support; and subjecting, during the advancement, the continuous elongated element to a second stretching with a second stretch coefficient during the application on the forming support. During the first stretching, a span of the continuous elongated element adjacent to the head end is stretched with a supplementary stretch coefficient greater than the first stretch coefficient, in a manner so as to confer, also to the span adjacent to the head end, a stretch and a section similar or substantially equivalent to those of the rest of the continuous elongated element.
