摘要： A hand stamp is set forth which allows normal stamping of a signature and allows a matrix plate thereof to be reversed when not in use in order to prevent abrasion of the matrix. This hand stamp includes a first member having an n-shaped structure and a handle integrally formed on the n-shaped structure with the n-shaped structure defining a first internal space. A plurality of guides are placed respectively on an inside of a first pair of sidewalls of the n-shaped structure. A second member is movably received within the space of the first member with the second member defining hog portions at appropriate positions. A substantially rectangular plate with a slightly smaller area than the cross-sectional area of the second member is received within a second internal space of the second member with the rectangular plate having two bosses respectively defined on a pair of wing surfaces extending from the rectangular plate and being rotatably received within the hog portions of the second member. A matrix plate with an approximate dimension similar to that of the substantially rectangular plate is replaceably attached to the substantially rectangular plate in order to rotate with the substantially rectangular plate. A series of different matrix plates with various matrix inscriptions thereon can be replaced and used on the same hand stamp.

摘要： A matrix plate and a matrix plate holder for a hand stamp are disclosed, wherein the matrix plate can be easily attached to and detached from the matrix plate holder. The matrix plate includes a mounting element defining a guide, a pair of arc-shaped fitting portions integrally formed on two lateral sides and a front of the guide, wherein each fitting portion defining an engaging tip, and a pair of manipulating wings integrally formed on two lateral sides of the fitting portions. The matrix plate holder includes a main board defining a cutout, two locating blocks located beside the cutout, wherein each locating block defines a locating recess and a connecting structure for connection to a casing of the handle stamp. When the matrix plate and the matrix holder are assembled, the guide is fittingly received in the cutout, the fitting portions are fixedly clamped between the locating blocks and the engaging tips are received in the locating recesses. By exerting a clamping force on the manipulating wings, the engagement between the locating blocks and the arc-shaped fitting portions is released.

摘要： This printing apparatus and technique incorporates a color transfer station to impart a desired color to a fusible ink layer on a ribbon. The color transfer station is located between a supply reel providing the ribbon for printing, and the location where actual printing occurs. This color transfer technique is particularly suitable for use in resistive ribbon thermal transfer printing, where economical use of the ribbon is mandatory. The structure for transferring color to the ink layer of the ribbon utilizes wicks, felt-coated rollers, nozzles, etc., to bring a selected colorant solution into contact with the ink layer of the ribbon, in accordance with the color desired for printing.
