摘要: Provided is a vehicle capable of suppressing vibration of a drive unit having an engine and a motor to be small and having high vehicle motion performance. The drive unit for travel of the vehicle includes an engine and a motor. The engine is a rotary engine and has an engine output shaft and an engine housing. The motor has a motor output shaft, a rotor, and a stator that are accommodated in a motor housing. The engine housing of the engine and the motor housing of the motor are directly joined to each other. The engine output shaft and the motor output shaft are directly joined to each other. The rotor of the motor has: a main body section that generates a rotational magnetic field with the stator; and a weight section that functions as a balance weight of the engine.

摘要: A hybrid power train structure for off-road vehicles (ATVs, UTVs and SSVs) uses an internal combustion engine (“ICE”) rotating a crankshaft through a continuously variable transmission (“CVT”) as a primary source of locomotion torque, but also includes a driving/generator motor which, in certain established conditions, can either provide an additional or alternative source of locomotion torque or can harvest electricity from the torque created by the internal combustion engine. The driving/generator motor is an axial flux motor of small size for its relative torque output, which can either be directly coupled to the CVT output shaft or, when additionally used as a starter motor for the ICE in an automatic ICE starting and stopping routine.

摘要: Systems for hybrid electric engines have a fuel vapor canister (FVC) in fluid communication with (i) fuel vapor in a fuel tank with a refueling valve therebetween, (ii) an intake manifold with a canister purge valve therebetween, and (iii) atmospheric pressure (atm) with a canister vent valve (CVV) therebetween, a bypass loop around the refueling valve, and a pressure sensor upstream of both the refueling valve and the CVV. The loop has a control pump and a control valve controlling fluid communication with atm, and in a first mode, control valve and CVV open, pumps fuel vapor to the FVC for pressure control, then closes the control valve; in a second mode, control valve closed and CVV open, pumps atm to the FVC; and in a third mode, control valve and CVV open, pumps fuel vapor to the FVC to a pre-selected threshold to close the CVV.

摘要: A piping (1) for guiding a fluid within a drive train unit (G) of a motor vehicle includes a pipe (R). A stop (R1A) is formed at a first end (R1) of the piping (1). A sealing element (R2D) is provided at a second end (R2) of the piping (1). The sealing element (R2D) acts as an axial seal. In order to improve a sealing effect of the sealing element (R2D), the piping (1) is loaded along an extension direction of the piping (1). A drive train unit (G) for a motor vehicle including such a piping (1) and a method for installing such a piping (1) into such a drive train unit (G) is also provided.

摘要: In a hybrid vehicle, each of an engine and an MG1 is mechanically coupled to a drive wheel with a planetary gear being interposed. The planetary gear and an MG2 are configured such that motive power output from the planetary gear and motive power output from the MG2 are transmitted to the drive wheel as being combined. The engine includes a turbocharger, an EGR valve, and a WGV. When opening of the EGR valve exceeds first opening, a controller maintains opening of the WGV at second opening or larger.

摘要: A propulsion system for a hybrid electric vehicle comprises a traction motor having first and second stator windings; a power source having a DC power output coupled to the first windings; a battery having a DC power output coupled to the second windings; and a controller to independently control: (i) a first power level output at the first DC power output, and (ii) a second power level of motive power output by the traction motor; wherein responsive to a signal to set the second power level less than full capacity of the traction motor, the controller provides a power difference between the first and second power levels from the second windings to the battery.

摘要: A hybrid vehicle includes: an internal combustion engine; a rotating electric machine; a planetary gear mechanism to which the internal combustion engine, the rotating electric machine and an output shaft are connected; a catalyst that purifies exhaust gas of the internal combustion engine; and a controller that controls the internal combustion engine and the rotating electric machine. The controller controls the internal combustion engine and the rotating electric machine to perform catalyst temperature control to shift an operating point on a map representing a relationship between rotation speed of the internal combustion engine and torque generated by the internal combustion engine so that the catalyst has a temperature within an appropriate temperature range. Degradation of the catalyst can be suppressed without deteriorating the function of the catalyst.

摘要: When evacuation travel is performed using only a drive power from one drive power source of an engine and a rotary machine, a drive power distribution device is prohibited from switching to a four-wheel-drive state and thus evacuation travel is performed in a two-wheel-drive state in which a loss in a power transmission device is relatively small. Accordingly, in a four-wheel-drive vehicle, it is possible to increase an evacuation-travelable distance when evacuation travel is performed using only the drive power from one drive power source of the engine and the rotary machine.

摘要: A fire fighting vehicle includes a powertrain including an engine, a battery pack, and an electromechanical transmission; a power divider; and a controller. The power divider is positioned between the engine, the pump, and the electromechanical transmission. The controller is configured to monitor a state-of-charge of the battery pack and operate the engine, the power divider, and the electromechanical transmission such that the state-of-charge is maintained above a minimum state-of-charge threshold that is sufficient to facilitate (i) accelerating the fire fighting vehicle to a driving speed of at least 50 miles-per-hour in an acceleration time and (ii) maintaining or exceeding the driving speed for a period of time. An aggregate of the acceleration time and the period of time is at least three minutes.
