摘要: A vehicle and a control method are capable of generating compressed air using a motor of a hybrid vehicle so as to perform cleaning/care of the hybrid vehicle, without an additional or separate device. The vehicle includes an engine including an intake pipe provided to suck outside air and an exhaust pipe provided to discharge inside air, an opening degree control valve provided at a rear end of the exhaust pipe, and a motor configured to generate power for driving a wheel and configured to drive a piston of the engine by using a portion of the power. In response to the opening degree control valve being in a closed state, and in response to the engine being in a non-combustion state, compressed air is generated in the exhaust pipe by driving the piston of the engine with the power of the motor.

摘要: An intake manifold is provided. A first inlet is structured to receive pressurized intake air from a turbocharger. A second inlet is structured to receive exhaust gas recirculation gas from an exhaust gas recirculation system. A third inlet is structured to receive fuel from a fuel line. A plurality of outlets are structured to be fluidly coupled to an engine. An intake manifold passage extends between each of the first, second, and third inlets, and the plurality of outlets. The intake manifold passage is shaped so as to cause at least two reversals in flow direction of each of the intake air, the exhaust gas recirculation gas, and the fuel through the intake manifold passage so as to improve mixing of each of the intake air, the exhaust gas recirculation gas, and the fuel.

摘要: Systems and methods for treated exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) for an internal combustion engine are disclosed. The internal combustion engine has an exhaust manifold discharging exhaust gas and an intake manifold receiving forced air from a compressor. One or more exhaust treatment devices treat the exhaust gas and produce a treated exhaust gas. The EGR system includes an EGR line downstream of the one or more exhaust treatment devices and connected to the engine intake line downstream of the compressor, wherein the treated EGR line recirculates the treated exhaust gas to the intake manifold of the engine without passing through the compressor.

摘要: An exhaust gas recirculation system includes a first turbocharger and a second turbocharger connected in series. An outlet of a turbine of the second turbocharger is connected to an exhaust pipe. An inlet of a compressor of the second turbocharger is connected to the exhaust pipe by means of an EGR gas collection pipe, and an outlet of the compressor of the second turbocharger is connected to an intake manifold by means of a low-pressure EGR exhaust pipe. The system employs energy of exhaust gas to drive turbines of a two-stage turbocharging system, thereby increasing utilization of the exhaust gas and improving the economic efficiency of an engine. An engine is also disclosed.

摘要: An internal combustion engine has a plurality of engine units, each having a working space, in which two rotary pistons are arranged so as mesh with each other and thereby divide the working space into an inflow region and an outflow region. Each engine unit has a closable inlet opening to the inflow region and a closable exhaust gas outlet opening. The internal combustion engine further includes a feed-line pipe to the inlet openings and an exhaust gas collection pipe connected to the exhaust gas outlet openings, so that the engine units are connected in parallel with each other. The internal combustion engine further includes exhaust gas lines which connect the engine units with each other in series. In certain cases, a control device operates some of the engine units either as internal combustion engines, or as expansion engines.

An electronic control device: calculates a target purge flow rate (TPFR) for vapor to the intake passage while the throttle device is controlled to a prescribed opening degree and the inlet valve is controlled to a target intake opening degree (TIOP); calculates the target purge opening degree to ensure the TPFR; controls the purge valve to the TIOP and corrects the TIOP by the TPFR; and controls the inlet valve by the corrected TIOP.

摘要: Methods and systems are provided for calibrating an effective area associated with an exhaust gas recirculation valve and/or a variable orifice associated with the exhaust gas recirculation valve. In one example, a method may include attaining a first steady-state intake pressure with the exhaust gas recirculation valve closed, determining a second steady-state intake pressure and a differential pressure across the variable orifice with the exhaust gas recirculation valve open, and estimating the variable orifice effective area based on the second steady-state intake pressure and the differential pressure. In this way, a calibration table may be updated for an exhaust gas recirculation control apparatus that includes an exhaust gas recirculation valve and a variable orifice, such that an actual amount of recirculated exhaust gas reflects a commanded amount.
