    摘要: A braking system for an aircraft may comprise: a brake assembly; a hydraulic braking subsystem having a hydraulic brake actuator configured to operate the brake assembly; an electric braking subsystem having an electric brake actuator configured to operate the brake assembly and a load cell configured to measure a force supplied by the electric brake actuator; a hydraulic brake control unit configured to control the hydraulic braking subsystem; and an electric brake control unit configured to control the electric braking subsystem, the electric brake control unit in operable communication with the hydraulic brake control unit, the electric brake control unit configured to calibrate the load cell by a scale factor based on a measured force from the load cell, a measured hydraulic pressure used to exceed the measured force received from the hydraulic brake control unit, and a piston area of the hydraulic brake actuator.

    摘要: A motor sub-assembly for an electromechanical brake actuator of an aircraft wheel includes a casing, a shaft mounted in the casing, and an electric motor mounted in the casing rotate the shaft, the shaft having an end connected to a screw-and-nut assembly to exert a force on a stack of disks for braking the aircraft wheel. The shaft has a first set of teeth and the motor sub-assembly has a shuttle mounted to slide relative to the casing and provided with a second set of teeth. The motor sub-assembly includes a selector mechanism that moves the shuttle selectively between first and second positions in which the first set of teeth is engaged and disengaged with the second set of teeth, respectively. The motor sub-assembly includes a holder device that holds the shuttle in the first position and a locking device that continuously prevents the shuttle from rotating relative to the casing.

The brake assembly further includes a stator fixed in rotation about the axis and configured for selective translation parallel to the axis. The stator has a first frustoconical stator surface proximate to the first frustoconical rotor surface and a conductive element, when the stator has a magnet, or a magnet, when the stator has a conductive element.

The mechanical energy may be generated during a braking event of the multi-disk brake system.
