摘要: A stand for holding a flight control surface of an aircraft wing. The stand has a longitudinal spine supported by plural uprights and supporting at least two hanger assemblies. Each hanger assembly has attachment points transversely outboard of the spine. Rods articulably depend downwardly from the respective attachment points to be articulably connected at a cradle. The cradle is configured to fixedly hold an aircraft flight control surface for maintenance. By adjusting the transverse spacing of the rods from the spine, the attitude of the flight control surface can be adjusted as needed for a particular maintenance task.

摘要: Method implemented through a computer for determining a maintenance plan of a group of aircraft, comprising receiving a data structure with a plurality of groups of values associated with a plurality of flights of the aircraft, wherein each flight has a duration, each group of values relates to a physical quantity associated with the use of an aircraft, and wherein each group of values is acquired during a flight by a detection system coupled to an aircraft. The method further comprises identifying one or more representative flights from the plurality of flights, starting from the data structure and using at least one statistical test, wherein the groups of values associated with the representative flights are, from a statistical viewpoint, values of typical use of the group of aircraft; determining a load sequence comprising the groups of values associated with the representative flights repeated a number of times, as a function of the duration of the respective representative flight; and determining a state of use of the group of aircraft, starting from the load sequence.

摘要: An aircraft skin coating assembly for an aircraft. The coating assembly includes a primer layer deposited on the aircraft skin, an optical stop-etch layer deposited on the primer layer that is reflective at a predetermined wavelength, a coating stack-up deposited on the optical etch-stop layer that provides performance features for the aircraft, and a sealant layer deposited on the stack-up. When a laser coating removal process employing a laser beam is used to remove the coating stack-up for replacement, the stop-etch layer reflects the laser beam to prevent it from penetrating and possibly damaging the aircraft skin.

摘要: A method for determining a probability of occurrence of a malfunction creating a performance defect in an aircraft makes it possible to process a set of input data so as to retain only measurements relevant with regard to determining the probability of occurrence of the malfunction following a previous event. In other words, the method makes it possible to refine a set of input data so as to establish relevant causal links between records of measurements and a malfunction, so as to determine a probability of occurrence of a malfunction based on the occurrence of one or more previous events.
