摘要: A thread protector that has an external sleeve to protect threads disposed on a tubular member. The thread protector includes a flange disposed on a first end of the external sleeve to be engageable with an end of the tubular member. The thread protector also includes a securing apparatus extending from the flange to frictionally engage an inner side of the tubular member to maintain the thread protector's engagement with the tubular member, the securing apparatus including a magnet that increases the force of the frictional engagement of the securing apparatus with the inner side of the tubular member. The securing apparatus can also extend from the flange to frictionally engage an inner side of the tubular member to maintain the thread protector's engagement with the tubular member, the securing apparatus rotatable relative to the external sleeve. A method of protecting pin threads of pin ends of tubular members by installing a thread protector on an end of a tubular member.

摘要: A protective sleeve, adapted to receive at least a first light bulb, includes parallel first and second panels, wherein at least the second panel includes a plurality of apertures. The package also includes a pair of sidewalls generally perpendicular to and connecting the panels, wherein the first panel, second panel and sidewalls together define an interior space. A second sleeve is adapted to receive at least a second light bulb. When the sleeve and the second sleeve are received together into the outer shell in an inverted orientation relative to each other sleeve, the respective second panels of the sleeve are adjacent each other, and the bulb portion of each of first and second light bulbs positioned with the sleeve intrudes into an interior space of the adjacent sleeve through at least one of the plurality of apertures of each of the sleeves.

摘要: In some embodiments, a shipping carton has a front side defining four front edges and a back side defining four back edges, the front and back sides joined together by four lateral sides so that the carton defines an interior space. The front side includes at least one front transparent section in visual communication with the interior space and the back side includes at least one back transparent section in visual communication with the interior space. In other embodiments, a tubular shipping carton has a front portion that includes at least one front transparent section in visual communication with an interior space defined by a major surface of the tube and a back portion that includes at least one back transparent section in visual communication with the interior space.

摘要: A child-resistant package comprising a tray and a sleeve. The tray is configured to be inserted into said sleeve. The tray comprises external protrusions and the sleeve comprises one or more internal protrusions and access holes. The internal protrusions are configured to engage with the external protrusions when the tray and the sleeve are in a closed position, such that the tray is substantially prevented from being taken out of the closed position without disengaging the external protrusions from the internal protrusions. Each of the access holes overlaps with an end of each of the external protrusions, such that a user may access and disengage the external protrusions from the one or more internal protrusions, such that the tray is no longer prevented from being taken out of the closed position.

摘要: A sleeve for jacketing a container such as a beverage cup, where the sleeve is assembled by cutting and folding from a unitary flat panel, the sleeve having no outwardly projecting flaps or ridges. Inwardly folding flaps adapt themselves to the taper and diameter of the cup. Multiple layers of material thickness in the sleeve may be realized using the templates and folding methods of the invention, and the sleeve is printable on either or both sides so that decorative or commercial indicia may be displayed according to the end user's needs or wishes. The invention finds use in making printed insulative sleeves having logos and other customized indicia, and may be folded according to the methods of the invention by the supplier or by the user of the sleeve.

摘要: A food tray has a lower tray containing a first food product and an upper tray nested stably at least partly inside the lower tray, with the upper tray containing a second food product. An air permeable interface is provided between the upper tray and lower tray to allow venting of steam from the lower tray during cooking. A cover is provided for the food tray. Each of the lower tray and the upper tray are formed of a material that is suitable for use in a microwave or conventional oven. Various constructions may be used to create the air permeable interface, such as lugs, ledges and lips. The upper tray may sit above the lower tray. The trays are nested loosely for ease of removal of the upper tray from the lower tray. Various configurations of cover may be used such as a sleeve, carton or lid. The upper tray may contain the higher value food product.
