摘要： Devices, systems, and methods for autonomously queueing a plurality of folded laundry articles in a packing queue are described. A packing system includes a packing queue platform configured to receive a folded laundry article into one of a plurality of packing queue locations disposed along a length of the platform, a double ended conveyor, one or more sensors configured to detect a packing queue location, and a controller. The double ended conveyor includes a retrieving end and a depositing end. The conveyor is configured to be mounted to a one or more fixed rails for traveling along the length of the queue platform and cantilevering the depositing end over the packing queue platform for depositing the folded laundry article onto either a surface of the packing queue platform or another previously deposited folded laundry article of the plurality of folded laundry articles.

摘要： An unloader for bulk materials is provided to transfer material such as cement from a barge or other bulk container. It includes a moveable and rotatable support member such as a crane or cantilevered arm that is adjacent the bulk container. A first conveyor or auger is connected to the support for pivotal movement and extends generally horizontally. A second conveyor or auger is connected to the distal end of the first conveyor for pivotal movement and is generally vertically oriented. A feeder unit is connected to the distal end of the second conveyor for universal and rotational movement. The feeder includes an uplift portion communicating with the second conveyor, the uplift portion advancing the bulk material at a rate slower than the second conveyor, and a collector portion communicating with the uplift portion. The collector portion includes converging auger assembly to advance the bulk material towards the uplift portion and to assist in transferring it into the uplift portion. The apparatus may further include a selectively operable energy responsive aeration system to inject air into the bulk material while it is being handled by the unloader, a scraper assembly attached to the feeder unit to assist in removing the last of the bulk material from its container, and a take-away assembly to transport the bulk material away from the unloader.

摘要： A belt clamp type unloader includes a vertical-horizontal conveyor assembly having a vertically extending portion and a horizontally extending portion, and a scraping section disposed at a position below a lower end of the conveyor assembly. In the conveyor assembly, two endless flat belts are combined such that their respective conveyance faces are superposed face-to-face with each other. Two tail pulleys are rotatably disposed at the lower ends of the vertically extending portions, and are spaced apart from each other transversely with respect to the direction of the breadth of the flat belt conveyor. A pair of pulleys which have a small diameter middle portion and large diameter opposite end portions are rotatably supported near to the lower ends of the flat belt conveyors but above the tail pulleys so as to press the flat belts into contact with each other, and another pulley is disposed at a bent portion at which the vertical portion meets the horizontal portion. The scraping section includes a pair of paddle feeders for spattering a material upwardly; and side covers for preventing the material from being scattered sideways. Accordingly, since it is ensured that a cross-sectional area suitable for conveyance is formed between the flat belts, any form of bulk material is stably and efficiently conveyed.

A packing system includes a refillable cartridge, a queue conveyor having one or more folded laundry articles and stacks of folded laundry articles disposed thereon, at least one retractable conveyor loading end between the refillable cartridge and the queue conveyor for loading the folded laundry articles into the refillable cartridge, a driven lifter for selectively raising and lowering the into and out of the container, and a controller in operative configuration with processors and drives of all of the foregoing and one or more sensors detecting a fill height of the refillable cartridge. The refillable cartridge includes a removable receiving surface that moves from a closed position to an open position during loading of the folded laundry by the retractable conveyor and unloading of the folded laundry into the container.

摘要： A sewage sludge silo is provided, having a central discharge arm for discharging sludge via a central discharge opening, by means of the discharge arm sweeping across a preferably sloped silo floor, with the discharge arm having upper and lower ends, with the lower end extending forward of the upper end in transverse generally vertical cross-section, as the discharge arm moves in a forward direction across the silo floor. The silo floor can be of multi-layer construction, with one of the layers being molded to facilitate a sloped configuration for the silo floor. The movement of a silo discharge arm can be computer controlled to adjust the speed of the discharge arm to maintain a predetermined or substantially constant rate of discharge of sludge from the silo, with such control being facilitated by appropriate sensor mechanisms.

The screw feeder system is provided with a screw propeller (2) rotated about the center of a shaft extending in the vertical direction for taking bulk cargo in, a loading orifice (23) opposite to the upper part of the screw propeller, and a releasing plate (13) disposed at the upper end of the screw propeller for releasing bulk cargo from the screw propeller toward the loading orifice. The bulk cargo taken in through the loading orifice is carried vertically with the bulk held between a descending belt (20) and an ascending belt (21).
