    摘要: Provided is a shrinkage-reducing agent for a hydraulic material, which does not require a combination with any other admixture, is inexpensive, and is capable of suppressing a reduction in strength of a hardened concrete material, suppressing generation of a crack in a hardened concrete material by virtue of its excellent shrinkage-reducing ability, and imparting excellent freeze-thaw resistance. The shrinkage-reducing agent for a hydraulic material includes at least one kind of polyoxyalkylene compound (A) as an essential component, in which a concrete or a mortar produced by using the shrinkage-reducing agent for a hydraulic material has a spacing factor of 350 μm or less.

    摘要: Disclosed are methods for forming carbon nano-onions. The methods include annealing a carbon nanodiamond starting material in an inert atmosphere. The method can be carried out at ambient pressure. Also disclosed are methods for functionalizing carbon nano-onions. For instance, carbon nano-onions can be functionalized so as to be soluble in aqueous or organic solvents, as desired. Also disclosed are methods for separating mixtures of carbon nano-onions. In particular, mixtures of carbon nano-onions can be separated from one another based upon differences in electrochemical characteristics of the different nano-onions.

    摘要: Solid catalyst components comprising Ti,Mg, halogen and an internal electron-donor compound selected from the 1,3-diethers of formula (I) in which R is a C1-C10 alkyl group, R1 is a linear or branched primary alkyl radical having at least three carbon atoms, optionally containing a heteroatom, and R2 is a secondary alkyl or cycloalkyl radicals different from i-propyl, optionally containing a heteroatom. The catalysts obtained by using as internal electron-donor compound the said 1,3-diethers display in the (co)polymerization of olefins an excellent balance of activity and stereospecificity that cannot be reached with the ethers known in the art.
