摘要: Described herein are methods and systems for proposing coordination framework compounds, such as crystalline porous materials, crystalline open frameworks, reticular chemistry compounds, metal-organic framework (MOF) compounds, covalent organic framework (COF) compounds, zeolitic imidazolate framework (ZIF) compounds, and combinations thereof. Also described herein are coordination framework compounds produced by same and sorbent systems including the coordination framework compounds. The methods and systems described herein combine machine learning and chemistry to propose chemically valid and performance improved coordination framework compounds that meet different goals of material discovery.

摘要: A method of producing a structured MOF composite tape by immobilizing metal chalcogenide particles into a polymer matrix, and then converting the metal chalcogenide into MOF in-situ. In some embodiments, the conversion is from ZnO-PTFE composite to ZIF-8-PTFE composite. ZIF-8-PTFE composite is a useful material for propylene/propane separation, oil capture, and photocatalytic killing against airborne bacteria. Besides ZIF-8, a structured MOF composite tape is a useful material for chemical separation including but not limited to chemical purification, air purification, and removal of biological toxicants. Additionally, a composite article which includes the MOFs may be in the form of a filter bag, a honeycomb, a column, or other suitable forms.

摘要: This disclosure relates to a rechargeable battery cell, comprising:
an active metal;
at least one positive electrode;
at least one negative electrode comprising an active material selected from the group consisting of an insertion material made of carbon, an alloy-forming active material, an intercalation material which does not comprise carbon, and a conversion active material;
an SO2 based electrolyte comprising a first conducting salt which has the formula (I),
wherein:
M is a metal selected from the group consisting of alkali metals, alkaline earth metals, metals of group 12 of the periodic table of the elements, and aluminum;
x is an integer from 1 to 3;
R1, R2, R3 and R4 are selected independently of one another from the group consisting of C1-C10 alkyl, C2-C10 alkenyl, C2-C10 alkynyl, C3-C10 cycloalkyl, C6-C14 aryl and C5-C14 heteroaryl; and
Z is aluminum or boron.-

摘要: A method including: preparing an alumoxane precursor from an organic oxygen source, a hydrocarbyl aluminum, and an organic solvent; heating the alumoxane precursor to form an alumoxane suspension; removing solid methylaluminoxane from the alumoxane suspension by filtering the alumoxane suspension to form a filtered solution; and combining the filtered solution with a support to form a supported alumoxane precursor.
