摘要： A clothing ironing assembly for removing lint from fabric includes a steam iron that has a lint chamber is integrated into the steam iron. The steam iron has a sole plate and the sole plate has a plurality of steam openings each extending through the sole plate. The steam iron has a plurality of scraping elements each integrated into the sole plate to scrape lint from a fabric when the sole plate is rubbed across the fabric while ironing the fabric. Each of the scraping elements directs the lint into the lint chamber collect the lint. A lint screen is removably insertable into the lint opening to collect the lint directed into the lint chamber.

摘要： A mattress cleaning system receives a mattress in a tank of wash liquid so that the mattress is fully submerged. A pressure applicator, for example a mechanical structure or a jetted flow of wash fluid, applies a cyclical compressive force to the sleeping surface of the mattress while the mattress is fully submerged so as to cause flushing of the wash liquid outwardly of the mattress through at least the sleeping surface of the mattress. When using a barrier to isolate one of the surfaces of the mattress on a first side of the barrier from remaining surfaces of the mattress on a second side of the barrier, use of a blower to create an air pressure differential between opposing sides of the barrier causes migration of the wash liquid through the mattress from the isolated surface of the mattress to the remaining surfaces for drying the mattress.

摘要： An embodiment of the invention consists of a process heater with a radiant section and an overhead convection section, the radiant section having a vertical cylindrical, contiguous, helical, tubular coil, having a bottom process fluid inlet and top process fluid outlet. The process fluid coil is contained in a refractory lined enclosure of square cross section and is exposed to an up flowing stream of combustion products, generated by burning coal on a continuous, traveling, chain grate stoker. The stoker is located at the base of the radiant section, receives a continuous deposit of coarse coal, with a minimum of fines, from a hopper located at one end of the stoker chain grate and discharges essentially coal free ash at the opposite end of the chain grate, thru a nozzle provided with a water seal. One or more centrifugal solids—gas separators are provided at the radiant section flue gas outlets for the purpose of removing ash particulates from the flue gas streams, before the latter enter the overhead convection section. Since the flue gas enters the convection section very nearly devoid of particulates, the convection section may be of conventional design, utilizing bare or extended surface tubes, on closely spaced equilateral or quadrilateral centers.

摘要： Renewing, washing, and/or recycling of used carpet tiles is provided. In accordance with one embodiment, carpet tiles are purchased or leased and installed with adjacent tiles being of a different pattern, design, color, shade, and/or the like so that no two identical tiles abut one another. This method of patterning and installing carpet tiles can eliminate the need for shade sorting and site mapping. Also, this method permits the ability to replace one or more damaged or severely stained tiles with new or renewed tiles and without worrying about tile-to-tile shading. The renewed carpet tiles are washed with a high-pressure fluid, and entangling of piles is removed and piles raised.
