摘要: The present invention is related to a water dispersible paper, particularly for use in packages in the construction area. The dispersibility of the paper of the present invention is achieved due to the low wet resistance and high capillary absorption and basically consists of an unbleached cellulose-based paper aiming at the reduction of ingredients conventionally used, adding only defoamers and drainage aids in the formulation thereof. The paper of the present invention consists in the elimination of the use of disintegration aids (such as surfactants), gluing agents and dry resistance agents (such as starch). There is further described a manufacturing process for dispersible paper which allows obtaining a paper having low wet tensile strength and high capillary rise without the need for the chemical agents usually known for the manufacture of this type of paper. The present invention further foresees a package containing said paper for use in construction such as in packages for, lime, sand, cellulosic or synthetic fibers or powder pigments, among others.

摘要: A double disc refiner includes a first refining disc at a feed end and an opposing second refining disc. The first disc has inlet opening(s) and a first distal surface facing a second disc opposing surface. A first disc refining segment has a second distal surface facing the opposing surface that has a first height relative to a plane of the first distal surface in a direction toward the opposing surface. A first disc center plate has elongated protrusions radially extending therefrom and a third distal surface having a second height in the direction of the first height that is at least equal to the first height. Each protrusion has a fourth distal surface continuous with the third distal surface and a third height in the direction of the first height equal to the second height. The third distal surface is separated from the opposing surface by 5-15 mm.

摘要: A refining member comprising a refining body with a refining surface comprising first and second refiner bars separated by first and second refiner grooves, respectively. The first refiner bars extend from a radially inward position to a first radially outward position. The second refiner bars extend to a second radially outward position that is nearer to an outermost part of the refining body than the first radially outward position. The second refiner bars have a longitudinal length from about 0.6 cm to about 10 cm. The first and second refiner bars have a respective first and second maximum height extending upward from a floor of a respective, adjacent first or second refiner groove. The second maximum height is at least 0.35 mm less than the first maximum height. The first refiner bars are adapted to refine wood fibers and the second refiner bars are adapted to break up fiber bundles.

摘要: The present invention is directed to a method of transforming a pulp fibrous into a pre-dispersed semi-dry or dry fibrous material and to the material produced. The method opens, de-entangles and fibrillates the fibrous material of the input pulp. The method mixes the input fibrous with chemicals while evaporating moisture in an updated mechanical disc refiner process. The refiner operates to set three process variables: 1) applied refining specific energy; 2) refiner gap opening and 3) refiner output consistency. Depending on the feed pulp type and consistency, the refiner's output is a pre-dispersed semi-dry fibrous material of 30 to 99% solids with 70 to 100% of separated fibers that depending on chemical treatment are loosely entangled fibrous that disperse in water using common techniques. The pre-dispersed semi-dry output may be further processed inline or by batch process air agitation at velocities sufficient to further separate fibers and loosen fibrous entanglements.
