    摘要: A latch assembly includes a bolt selectively moveable between an extended position and a retracted position. A cam blocker is included and positionable in different configurations. In one configuration, the cam blocker allows the bolt to move towards the retracted position with actuation of a handle in two different rotational directions. In another configuration, the cam blocker allows the bolt to move towards the retracted position with actuation of the handle in only one rotational direction. The latch assembly is also adjustable between at least two different backset distances.

    摘要: A door latch system comprises an interchangeable latch assembly for securing a door to a door frame. The interchangeable latch assembly comprises a head and a latch mounted to the head. The latch is moveable between latched and unlatched positions. A driven member is operatively connected to the latch, the driven member moveable to latch or unlatch the latch. The door latch system further comprises a universal actuating assembly removably couple-able to the interchangeable latch assembly. The universal actuating assembly comprises a mounting bracket and a driving member releasably coupled to the driven member. Actuation of the universal actuating assembly translates the driving member and the driven member, moving the latch to the unlatched position. A first interchangeable latch assembly may be swapped with a second interchangeable latch assembly without requiring modification of the universal actuating assembly.

    摘要: Disclosed is a Sleeve Stop Lock that is a portable, removable, non-damaging door lock that can be used to secure almost any inward swinging door from the outside. The apparatus consists of three components: a sleeve, a stop, and a lock. The “sleeve” component fits around the edge of a door. It is installed while a door is open. With the door closed, the “stop” makes contact with the door frame once attached to the sleeve thus preventing the door from swinging inward. The “lock” mechanism then securely binds all of the components together. The combination of these three elements (sleeve, stop and lock) prevent potential intruders (including housekeeping) from entering and invading the privacy of an unoccupied room.
