A method for deploying a tool with a control line including securing the control line to the tool, reacting the at least a portion of the clamp to the input, and displacing the control line. A borehole system including a borehole in a formation, and an expandable tool disposed in the borehole.

摘要: A self-entry exploitation device and method for marine natural gas hydrates is provided. The exploitation device includes a self-entry structural body (1), a sand control device (2) and a gas-liquid lifting system. The self-entry structural body (1) is a gravity anchor. The sand control device (2) and the gas-liquid lifting system are mounted on the self-entry structural body (1). At least one cavity (21) is formed between the self-entry structural body (1) and the sand control device (2), and the cavity (21) is communicated with at least one channel. The sand control device (2) allows liquid and gas to pass through to enter the cavity (21) and is able to filter out silt. The gas-liquid lifting system includes at least one lifting power device (31) and has an end connected to the cavity (21) and an end extending out through a pipeline. By adoption of the exploitation device, drilling is not needed, the self-entry structural body (1) can enter a natural gas hydrate reservoir or a free gas layer below the natural gas hydrate reservoir, so that depressurizing exploitation can be realized, an exploitation system can be withdrawn, and the exploitation cost of natural gas hydrates can be greatly reduced.

摘要: A bottomhole assembly (BHA) located on a conveyance string for actuating downhole tools in a wellbore, such as sleeve valves. The bottomhole assembly has a shifting tool that is capable of being hydraulically actuated independently of a mechanically actuated treatment tool also located on the BHA. The shifting tool has hydraulically actuated shifting dogs for engaging with the sleeve valves, and a shifting-assist mechanism for applying a downhole force on the BHA. The treatment tool is mechanically actuated via manipulation of the conveyance string to isolate the wellbore, for example to treat a formation through an opened sleeve valve. A hydraulically cycled flow control valve can be located on the BHA for more convenient control of the fluid flow and pressure in the BHA. The BHA can also have a repositioning mechanism for positioning the shifting tool downhole of an opened sleeve valve without requiring repositioning of the entire BHA.

摘要: A washpipe free feature may include a housing defining a chamber having a bypass portion and a securing portion. The housing has first and second bores to put the bypass portion in fluid communication with an annulus of a wellbore and a central bore of a downhole tubular, respectively. Further, the washpipe free feature includes a magnet secured in the bypass portion, a ferromagnetic ball disposed within the bypass portion, and a piston disposed within the chamber. A distal end of the piston blocks the ball from contacting the magnet in a run-in position such that the ball may plug the first bore in response to fluid flow from the tubular toward the annulus. Additionally, the piston is slideable to an open position such that the magnet may hold the ball out of a flow path between the first bore and the second bore in the bypass portion.

The resin including a hardening resin adapted to harden inside of the inflatable bladder to form a hardened plug downhole in the well.

摘要: An expansion apparatus and a method of manufacturing an expansion apparatus are provided. The expansion apparatus comprises an expandable element having a monolithic wall structure circumscribing a longitudinal axis and enclosing a space for receiving a pressurised fluid for use in inflating the expandable element between a non-expanded configuration and an expanded configuration. The wall structure is formed by additive manufacturing to have an initial non-expanded profile in which a perimeter length of the wall structure is greater than an outer gauge perimeter of the wall structure. Expansion during inflation is achieved by reforming the initial non-expanded profile of the wall structure to increase the outer gauge perimeter.

摘要: A downhole tool and method, of which the downhole tool includes a housing defining a charge chamber and a hydraulic chamber, the hydraulic chamber containing a hydraulic fluid, and a piston disposed in the hydraulic chamber. The piston prevents the hydraulic fluid from communicating with the charge chamber, and is in communication with the hydraulic fluid and the charge chamber. The tool also includes one or more charges disposed in the charge chamber. The one or more charges are configured to ignite and thereby expand a gas in the charge chamber. The tool further includes a fluid-metering device coupled to the housing. The fluid-metering device is configured to control a rate at which the hydraulic fluid is pressed out of the hydraulic chamber.

摘要: A flow management system includes an expandable device configured for attachment to a wall surface of a conduit and being adjustable between an expanded configuration and a collapsed configuration, an electric actuator in fluid communication with the expandable device, and a control module. The control module is configured to control the electric actuator to flow a current to the expandable device to expand the expandable device for compacting a flow blockage within the conduit to create a channel adjacent the flow blockage and to terminate a flow of the current to the expandable device to collapse the expandable device for opening the channel to a fluid flow within the conduit.

摘要: Automated systems are disclosed that enable the rapid provision of fluids to downhole isolation tools. This is achieved by automatically optimizing the use of power available downhole by providing a high flowrate when pressure demand is low and a lower flowrate when pressure demand is high. Methods are disclosed which utilize the apparatus in a bottom hole assembly during downhole operations for isolating segments of a borehole.
