    摘要: A block sealing of a rotary combustion engine having a rotating block with radially located cylinders and pistons and an outside stationary case is disclosed. Transverse and/or lateral sealings located in the stationary case fit tight to an outer surface of the block. In circular grooves, a lateral sealing of radius sealing strips with springs situated between adjacent transverse sealing strips placed in transverse grooves is located. Couplings with notches and pressure springs are located in bores of the stationary case for inserting radius sealing strips and transverse sealing strips. The radius sealing strip is provided with a cut-out for interlocking of a stop connected with the stationary case. In the side of the radius sealing strip, a longitudinal groove in which a flexible sealing element and/or transverse sealing strip is made, and at its side, it is provided with a groove in which another flexible sealing element is located.

The annular body defines a first centrally-disposed opening having has a central axis extending therethrough. The annular body has a first side comprising a first contact surface configured to engage a partition plate and a second side a second contact surface configured to engage a floating seal assembly. The first contact surface defines a slope between first and second radial locations. The axial projection extends from the annular body and can be received in a second centrally-disposed opening of the partition plate. The insert component can fluidly seal both a first interface between the first contact surface and the partition plate and a second interface between the second contact surface and a floating seal assembly during operation of the scroll compressor.

    摘要: A tangential force internal combustion engine invention utilizes the four cycle internal combustion engine process. Working gas chambers are formed via a torroid in the housing and two adjacent piston assemblies. Pistons, ring seals, and inner seal plate elements seal this chamber. The four gas cycles are spaced over the 360 degree torroid chamber with gas ports appropriately placed. One power vane (PV) and one reaction vane (RV) connect to a central shaft with pistons attached to each vane end. The PV produces driving torque on a central shaft through an Overrunning Clutch System (OCS). At specific angles and for controlled durations the PV and VN are slowed, stopped, held to the housing, and then accelerated and coupled to the shaft. Vane movement is controlled by gears, cam ramps, and pin mechanisms operating via three independent but time-coordinated systems. The power vane has no controlled acceleration; combustion pressure serves to immediately couple this vane to the shaft via the OCS. This immediateness and direct-coupling are thought to provide efficiency.

The post pivots relative to the piston about a post-piston rotation axis that is normal to the face of the piston disk. The post pivots relative to the quadrant about a post-quadrant pivot axis that is perpendicular to the quadrant rotation axis. The post rotates about the quadrant rotation axis relative to the housing. Combusting fuel injected into the combustion chamber expands and pushes on the piston disk to rotate the output shaft about the piston rotation axis.
