The bottom ash discharging device ensures that the clinkers drop from the bottom ash hopper outlet to the rear area of the clinker crusher, and that the impact bar can be replaced and repaired without stopping the coal-fired boiler.

The discharge base for the chamber for the heat treatment of the material is capable of separating the fine fraction of the material from the oversize fraction of the material. The discharge base has a plurality of conveyor elements which are movable to and fro for the discharge of the oversize fraction of the material. The discharge base is also provided with separator openings for separating out the fine fraction of the material. The conveyor elements are of bar-shape construction and are disposed in parallel to one another on the discharge base to be moveable in the direction of their longitudinal extent, and the separator openings are formed by longitudinal gaps between the conveyor elements.

    摘要: A heater for burning particulate combustible fuel material, and a stoker for transferring the fuel for use in connection with such a heater. The heater includes a burner with a step upward from the stoker onto the burner, for reducing the possibility of the fire burning back into the supply of fuel. The stoker includes a first conveyor and a second conveyor, spaced vertically apart and connected together by a drop box. A drive arrangement for driving the conveyors includes a prime mover connected to the first conveyor by means of a drive shaft and to the second conveyor by an intermittent drive. The intermittent drive includes a second shaft with a plurality of paddles extending radially outwardly therefrom. In one embodiment, one or more paddles are removably affixed to the first shaft and extend radially outward therefrom. Thus rotation of the first shaft causes rotation of the second shaft only when the paddles are in contact. If there are fewer paddles on the first shaft than on the second, the second shaft will be driven intermittently. In another embodiment, the paddles on the second shaft are replaced with tabs, and the paddles on the first shaft are replaced with pegs. If there are fewer pegs on the first shaft than tabs on the second, the second shaft will be driven intermittently.

    摘要: A device for oxidizing gaseous materials, comprising a combustion chamber, wherein the device and the combustion chamber both have a top and a bottom, the device further having a gas outlet and being adapted to operate in conjunction with means applying negative pressure to the outlet, means for introducing process gas and a source of fuel into the top of the combustion chamber, means for effecting heat exchange between oxygen-containing gas and the combustion chamber to preheat the oxygen-containing gas, means for introducing the preheated gas into the top of the combustion chamber, means for mixing the preheated gas with the process gas and fuel so that the mixture can burn in the combustion chamber to form an exhaust gas, means for permitting the gas to exit from the bottom of the combustion chamber, means for diluting the exhaust with air to form a flue gas, and means for directing the flue gas from the bottom of the combustion chamber out of the outlet of the device. The heat exchanger may concentrically surround the combustion chamber, and the preheated oxygen-carrying gas may swirl in a first direction as it enters the combustion chamber, there to be mixed with process gas and fuel swirling in the opposite direction. Means may be provided for removing particulate materials from the combustion chamber. Also disclosed is a method for incinerating materials in a gas stream using the disclosed incinerator.

    摘要: Heating boiler intended to be used for burning straw, paper and similar fuel material in the form of compressed bales. The boiler is capable of supplying the material to be burned as a function of the heat requirements. It is necessary to provide optimum combustion conditions to maintain exhaust gas emission values within prescribed limits. The boiler is therefore provided inside its combustion compartment with a channel (2) wherein the compressed bales are dried and the slow distillation gas is removed to a large extent from the fuel. The bale supply channel (2) opens into a combustion chamber (4) enclosing the combustion compartment and preventing the flames from touching the water jacket (15) of the boiler.

    摘要: A furnace having a primary heat exchange unit also providing a combustion chamber, a secondary heat exchange unit connected by an upper crossover conduit to the primary heat exchange unit, and a tertiary heat exchange unit connected by a lower V-shaped crossover conduit to the secondary heat exchange unit. A third crossover conduit connects the V-shaped crossover conduit with the primary heat exchange unit. Vibrating means are provided between the secondary and tertiary heat exchange units to vibrate the walls thereof and dislodge clinging fly ash so that it falls into the V-shaped crossover conduit for removal by the screw conveyor. A burner assembly of a furnace includes a combustion air housing carrying a circular, stationary grate with an annular valley for carrying fuel during combustion. A central opening is connected to a fuel conveyor for introduction of fuel to the grate through the lower portion of the housing. Combustion air introduction conduits on the housing are remote from the fuel introduction passages and introduce air under pressure at the lower portion of the grate. An agitator and discharge ring is provided on the grate and is rotated on the grate by a suitable drive sprocket mechanism to agitate the fuel for more complete burning thereof and to remove burned ash. A horizontal burner plate is supported by a plurality of legs connected to the agitator and discharge ring over the grate to promote more complete combustion of the fuel.
