摘要: A Lidar system herein includes a transmitter operable to rotate at a first rate, and to transmit laser light along a first path from the Lidar system to a target, and a receiver operable to rotate with the transmitter, and to receive at least a portion of the laser light along a second different path from the target. The system includes an event-camera having a plurality of pixels being triggerable by photon flux changes. A processor calculates a range and an angle to the target using an angular displacement between the second path and the receiver that arises from the first rate of rotation for the transmitter and the receiver and, in part, from event data of at least one of the pixels based on a direction of the first path at a time of a photon flux change and a pixel coordinate of the at least one pixel.

摘要: The present application is applicable to the technical field of a LiDAR, and provides a LiDAR control method, a terminal apparatus, and a computer-readable storage medium. The LiDAR control method includes the following steps: acquiring first echo data; when an oversaturated region is determined to exist according to the first echo data, controlling LiDAR to measure a scanning region according to a second preset scanning mode to obtain second echo data; performing data fusion processing based on the first echo data and the second echo data to obtain target data. The LiDAR is controlled to measure according to the first preset scanning mode and a second preset scanning mode, and then fusion is performed based on the measured first echo data and second echo data, thereby effectively eliminating a problem of signal crosstalk caused by too high reflection energy of an object with high reflectivity, and effectively improving measurement accuracy.

Each optical redirector element is configured to optically couple a respective portion of return light from a respective aperture to at least one photodetector of the plurality of photodetectors.

摘要: A coherent lidar system for capturing the surroundings is configured to emit a phase-modulated signal with pseudo-random change over discrete phase values. The system receives the signals reflected back from objects and converts the signals into a low-frequency signal by mixing and digitizing. The system includes a digital signal processing for correlation filtering of the low-frequency received signal. At least a part of the two-dimensional correlation filter is realized by a hardwired digital circuit embodied as a pipeline, wherein multiple or all of the output values are determined per clock frequency of the digital circuit in one of the two dimensions, and over a sequence of clock frequencies in the other dimension.

摘要: A semiconductor package that is a proximity sensor includes a light transmitting die, a light receiving die, an ambient light sensor, a cap, and a substrate. The light receiving die and the light transmitting die are coupled to the substrate. The cap is coupled to the substrate forming a first chamber around the light transmitting die and a second chamber around the light receiving die. The cap further includes a recess with contact pads. The ambient light sensor is mounted within the recess of the cap and coupled to the contact pads. The cap includes electrical traces that are coupled to the contact pads within the recess coupling the ambient light sensor to the substrate. By utilizing a cap with a recess containing contact pads, a proximity sensor can be formed in a single semiconductor package all while maintaining a compact size and reducing the manufacturing costs of proximity sensors.

摘要: Techniques for Doppler correction of chirped optical range detection include obtaining a first set of ranges based on corresponding frequency differences between a return optical signal and a first chirped transmitted optical signal with an up chirp that increases frequency with time. A second set of ranges is obtained based on corresponding frequency differences between a return optical signal and a second chirped transmitted optical signal with a down chirp. A matrix of values for a cost function is determined, one value for each pair of ranges that includes one in the first set and one in the second set. A matched pair of one range in the first set and a corresponding one range in the second set is determined based on the matrix. A Doppler effect on range is determined based on combining the matched pair of ranges. A device is operated based on the Doppler effect.

摘要: A set of POIs of a point cloud are received at a first filter, where each POI of the set of POIs comprises one or more points. Each POI of the set of POIs is filtered. A set of neighborhood points of a POI is selected. A metric for the set of neighborhood points is computed based on a property of the set of neighborhood points and the POI, wherein the property comprises a velocity. Based on the metric, whether to accept the POI, modify the POI, reject the POI, or transmit the POI to a second filter, to extract at least one of range or velocity information related to the target is determined. Provided the POI is not accepted, modified, or rejected, the POI is transmitted to the second filter to determine whether to accept, modify, or reject the POI to extract the at least one of range or velocity information related to the target.

摘要: A detector for object authentication includes first and second illumination sources. The first illumination source projects an illumination pattern including a plurality of illumination features onto a surface of an object. The second illumination source projects an illuminating light beam onto the object. The detector also includes an image capture device for determining a first image including a plurality of reflection features generated by the surface of the object in response to the illumination pattern and for determining a second image including two dimensional information associated with the surface of the object generated in response to the illuminating light beam. The detector also includes an evaluation device for evaluating the first image and the second image, identifying a geometrical feature of the object, determining a material property of the object, and comparing the two dimensional information to data stored in a database for authentication of the object.
