    摘要: Embodiments of robotic systems are disclosed. In one embodiment, a robotic system includes a tool used in a manufacture process on a workpiece, and an arm having an attachment point. The arm moves the tool, in multiple degrees of freedom during the manufacture process. A robot controller controls movement of the arm based on motion parameters to perform the manufacture process via the tool. A path planner component generates the motion parameters used to perform the manufacture process while avoiding robot collision conflicts. The path planner component includes a reach configuration component including data related to physical attributes, motion attributes, kinematics, and limitations of the robotic system. The path planner component also includes a collision avoidance evaluator to, using the reach configuration component, determine if an anticipated robot path results in any robot collision conflicts.

    摘要: Techniques for improving flexural strength in 3D-printed object. The techniques generally include identifying a portion of a 3D model corresponding to the 3D-printed object to which one or more support posts should be added and adding support post descriptors to the 3D model within such a portion. The support post descriptor defines a position and at least one dimension of a support post cavity and a position and at least one dimension of a support post, both having a height corresponding to at least two layers of 3D-printable material. The model, including the support post descriptors are transmitted to a 3D printer to print the 3D model, which includes a support post cavity and a support post having a height of at least two layers.

The modes that may be switched to and from may include settings for stitch mode and stitch speed. The buttons may be physical buttons associated with the sewing machine's handles, or they may be digital buttons associated with a tablet device.

    摘要: A method for the characterization of a sheet metal forming product uses the correlation of material flow data to a priori calculated or measured data. It determines whether the product falls within the acceptable production limits in terms of quality, areas of potential defects and an approximation of the process parameters prevailing during its production. The characterization is performed in real-time during production, tool deployment or try-out. The method includes the steps of: providing physical dimensions of an actual sheet metal part; a feature extractor computing, from these physical dimensions, a measured material flow metric representative of the geometry of the part after the forming operation; and a matching unit determining, from reference data and the measured material flow metric, a matching forming operation data set whose associated simulated material flow metric most closely matches the measured material flow metric.

    摘要: An electronic system for compensating the dimensional accuracy of a 4-axis CNC machining system includes a CNC machining system configured to machine a plurality of features into a part, a dimensional measuring device configured to measure a plurality of dimensions of the part, and to provide an output corresponding to the measured dimensions and a compensation processor in communication with the CNC machining system and dimensional measuring device. The CNC machining system includes a global coordinate system, and at least one feature being defined relative to a local coordinate system that is translated from the machine coordinate system. Additionally, the compensation processor is configured to receive the output from the dimensional measuring device, to calculate a plurality of CNC offsets, including at least one local offset, and to provide the offsets to the CNC machining system.
