    摘要: A system and method are disclosed for providing improved 3D sound experience to a user. The sound generation layer is customizable to allow the user and/or application provider to modify the internal rules the sound generation layer uses to render sounds, to amplify sounds that fall below a pre-set or user-set volume level, and to specifically amplify/soften certain sounds (such as game specific sounds like gunfire or footsteps), or specific frequencies of sounds. A graphical user interface can communicates with the sound generation layer to handle any or all the above, so that a lay user can easily adjust these settings without having to understand the underlying algorithms.

    摘要: An amplifier circuit includes a grounded-collector circuit for converting an input signal voltage into a first signal current, a second transistor circuit for transmitting the first signal current to an output side, a variable impedance for converting the first signal current transmitted to the output side into a voltage, and a circuit block having a voltage generation circuit connected in series to the variable impedance. A transistor constituting the grounded-collector circuit has a collector connected to a junction of the voltage generation circuit and the variable impedance and an emitter connected to an input side of the second transistor. The amplifier circuit has an operation point in which input and output voltages are maintained constant even if a gain is varied.

    摘要: A gain and impedance switching circuit for an amplifier includes an AF amplifier having an input impedance connected between the input terminal thereof and a reference point and a feedback circuit connected between the feedback and output terminals of the amplifier, a first series circuit consisting of a first impedance and a first ON/OFF switch and connected between the input terminal of the AF amplifier and a reference point (such as ground) and a second series circuit consisting of a second impedance and a second ON/OFF switch connected between the feedback terminal of the AF amplifier and the reference point, the first and second ON/OFF switches being ganged with each other so as to change the input impedance and the gain of the AF amplifier simultaneously.

The PGA divides the dB-gain curve into several parts by the concept of piece-wise linearity, and then simultaneously executes the dB-linear gain adjustment of MSB and the LSB at the same gain stage. Present invention achieves the PGA dB-linearity by setting up every capacitance of the sampling capacitor array and the holding capacitor array, then arranging the sampling capacitor array and the holding capacitor array by coordinating the switching of the capacitor switches.

    摘要: The present invention relates to an AM-FM receiver suitable for integrated circuit fabrication and having improved mode conversion means. The AM-FM receiver had a d.c. coupled IF broadband IF amplifier comprising a plurality of stages of emitter coupled transistor pairs. A d.c. feedback network is provided to balance the individual stages and to generate a control potential for further use in mode conversion. In the FM mode, the IF amplifier operates with a high, stable gain at the FM IF frequency with gain reduction for noise suppression purposes below the FM IF frequency. Frequency dependent noise suppression is provided by a capacitance associated with the degenerative network. In the AM mode, the IF amplifier operates at a controllable, medium gain with the degenerative effect on IF gain restored at the AM IF frequency by the addition of capacity to the degenerative network. A control bus, energized by the degenerative network, is used for gain control purposes in the AM tuner and for mode conversion in the AM tuner, the AM-FM detector, and separate portions of the AM and FM audio circuitry.
